OK, my best offer to you would be: Invoice. We got a deal? You get holdback and you get commission and you get OEM bonuses.
Okay, give me your driver license and credit card.
You got a car.

Hmm, sad. Guess I'm a Jew, according to you because I don't to pay more than I have to for cars? Not sure I understand your angst against educated buyers who don't want to be taken advantage of.
OK, fair enough. Then why do dealers sell at or below invoice? They could choose to say no, but they don't. The last 5 cars I've purchased in the past 4 years have been under invoice except for the Hellcat, which I didn't want to wait for or haggle on. They could have said "nope, this is the lowest we'll go".

You sound like a person who would use TrueCar.
More on my Highlander vs Pilot adventure
I like how the Pilot base model comes with all the bells and whistles that the mid-level Highlander has. Stuff like heated seats, remote start, key fob, are all on the base Pilot, where the Highlander you have to pay for the next step up.
I'm holding that against the Toyota salesperson right now. See if they can deal me the mid-level Highlander.

Salesman: Ok, we'll do payments at 200 a month for 12 years.Ill be going in this weekend to trade in a 2011 optima for a pickup. just gonna tell them what I want to pay per month (lower than I'd actually be willing to pay) and walk if they don't play ball.
Glad you brought that up. They try to lower the monthly payments and increase the months. "Oh it's just two packs of beer a month". If you're firm when you go and don't back down they will cave. They will go to the finance manager a couple times then finally say that's the best he can do. If you researched and found several others got the price your gunning for don't settle just leave. If your trading in and ask you for money down..... If you're credit is good tell them no. When they saw the beacon credit score and that I mentioned if they don't play ball I'll go see my pool league buddy and get the GMC canyon. But if prefer the Ford, they pick up on that if you actually drop a finance mangers name. Their like branch mangers at banks.... They bounce around in their respective business and everyone knows their name. With the internet and
