Yeah they are just tax scamming that nonsense - its most likely the owner's tax write off they are not ready to sell yet. If its new you could complain to the manufacturer, but that generally does nothing, outside getting someones attention flaming the dealer on social media.
2016 car. 13 for sale total between the US and Canada. So, it caught my attention being a nice color and having the right options and not 7 owners. If it was new, piece of cake like you said.

I just don't talk with dealers anymore. I literally just write what I want on a piece of paper with my name and phone number and the price I'm willing to pay monthly for it. They either accept it and call or they don't and throw it away. I've yet to have someone throw it away. So far it's been.."We can make that happen" or some variation of that and I walk out with what I want at the price I asked. I don't play the psychological warfare games they employ. I don't even acknowledge them when they approach me when I'm just browsing on the lot.

Uber driver was pulsing the gas and breaks the entire fucking ride to the airport and made me sick as shit.

For no reason. There was hardly any traffic.

Monthly? Why?

Do you not deal in purchase prices?

Foreigners like when I was in taiwan do that, though wasn't breaking, just moderate/heavy throttle, coast, repeat. I believe in the hyper mile'r world that's a thing, run the engine at closer to ideal cruising power rather than kinda lugging at minimal throttle.

I have met grown ass adults who didnt know you're supposed to use one foot to drive automatic.

I mean they literally drive around with one foot hovering over the gas pedal and the other foot hovering over the brake.

And they're allowed to vote.

There are also people that think when you use "1 pedal" drive mode in an EV that the break pedal just does not exist, serves no function or just does not work. And that if you are not perfect on your heavy regen deceleration, you just run into things with no alternative to add any way of adding additional breaking.

Before I got my license, I did this while driving a go kart as a kid. Accidentally hit both pedals at the end of the run and almost hit the dude running the track lol.

That is just retarded, yet hilarious. I've forgotten a few times when I charge to 100% for a road trip that there is no longer regen braking, and have to remember to suddenly brake, but I believe there are people out there that retarded enough to forget to brake :\

Normally though, I see it as a personal failure if I have to use the brake pedal at all during a normal trip. My hybrid back in the day made it almost 250K miles before I had to replace the brakes, hoping to replicate that here. The 2020 comes to a complete stop easily, the 2016 drops you to 5MPH then you have to stop the old fashioned way by running over pedestrians.

One of the meds I am on requires an EKG every 6 months.
The test takes 5 minutes tops to do. That includes putting on the stickers, attaching the clamps, taking off the stickers.

Took 1 fucking hour to get registered
Took 30 fucking minutes to be called back.

Irony is I'm on this due to all the pain I live in constantly, and the hour & half wait makes it worse. Told my brother I'm going to get off all the meds so I can drink again and be a fucking drunk, it's easier.

dad has been in home hospice care for 4 months now. he is currently going through a bad spell. there have been a lot of ups and downs. several times we thought it was the start of the end but he would recover. now he is have to major issues, vivid dreams/nightmares with waking in a confused state and stomach issues. both of these could be from his declining health or medicine.
he had a really big down turn a few weeks ago, he got very depressed, weak, and didn't want to go on anymore. turned out he had a UTI, about 5 days of medicine he was doing very well and could walk around slowly on his own again.

last 2 nights after taking a pill, he a lot of stomach issues. i called the head hospice nurse. she told me stomach issues were not a side effect of that medicine. i had looked it up on several sites and heart burn and upset stomach are listed. she even told me to make sure she took the pill with food to avoid upset stomach (which he always does).
she then said me and my mom want to change his meds to much. i brought up one her changes was just wrong. when he had the UTI, she adjusted his depression med to 100mg twice a day. he was on 25mg. she then said, he report said he took 50mg pills, and no one told her my mom was cutting them in half. i didn't have the paper work with me so just politely ended the call.
got the paperwork, it says, (50mg, take 25mg once daily)

we live in the sticks so isn't like have options on different hospice companies.

I changed to independent (i.e. hate them all party) and I don't get any.
I''m experiencing the opposite... I have no party affiliation registered, and I have gotten both solicitations to pay me to phone bank for democrats, and warnings about every evil thing the democrats are going to do unless I vote Hard R.
