That fucking sucks; I bet it must have been something about waves, current, and undertow. It is scary how fast that shit can go south in the ocean.
For sure. My dad was out swimming in the ocean once, got caught in a rip tide and it took him almost an hour to get back in to shore. Fortunately was in fantastic shape from running 120 miles per week at the time. Said he crawled onto shore and laid there for a good 10 minutes.

I watch very little TV. I did not watch the Cosby show but heard about him when it was on, then not a lot else.

For instance today I watched a 30 minue TV show on youtube. 1959 M Squad lol. A cop (Lee Marvin) was trying to stop an arson squad (James Coburn and Leonard Nimoy). I'm super up to date lol.

Damn, that sucks.

Saw the Sabbath reunion tour in '99. One of the greats. Glad he made it into the Hall of Fame before dying (twice).

My family watched "The Cosby Show" religiously and had VHS tapes full of recorded episodes. Despite that, when I try to remember any scenes or episodes, this is the only one that I can recall, from the fucking pilot of all things.

The laugh track is out of control.

The Bill Cosby shows did not use laugh tracks. They actually had live audiences. Bill Cosby actually insisted on that as he believed that an audience would laugh on its own merit...or not.

It's sad that the Oz has passed but to be honest, I cant actually believe he made it to 76. Dude put 200 years worth of mileage on that body.

I got into rock music mainly because my sister played two albums constantly - one of them being Paranoid. (The other album was something by the Guess Who. Go figure.)
This goes right to the feels.
