It was released during Covid. Got some airplay. Made him some money and fame, but he was definitely no A-lister. Sucks whenever anyone that young dies in an accident, but death don't give a shit.

I first came across Oliver Tree during covid when an old school priest in our classic guild made a video using "Let Me Down" playing over it. It was a funny video about people dying to stupid shit and the priest sending the message he can't heal our own retardation.

I don't care for any of his other music and found the persona he created for himself to be annoying with the club kid outfit, haircut, eccentric behavior etc. etc., but that one song hit me in a weird way and has stuck with me ever since.

She was living on the street. Her manager and step-sister had to hire an investigator to locate her on Skid Row. She had a falling out with her family many years ago and was completely alone in the world.

She lost significant weight and was in bad shape after about 4-5 months on the street. Homelessness sucks.

That's rough. Some of the news articles do mention she had some criminal history related to drugs and joyriding. One mentioned she had been recently hospitalized for malnutrition besides the meningitis, so there definitely was some messed up stuff going on.
