I shall live vicariously throughcakeuntil then. I don't mind reading all this information & those patch notes and everything, but god damn it would be way cooler to actually play it and give feedback since they currently are listening to the community. (for now at least)

The thing that still puzzles me is that they said they picked the first round of testers because of beefy PC specs. The only thing that has anything to do with PC specs in the beta sign up is one check box asking if you meat the minimum pc requirements. I can't imagine anyone clicking no.

With that survey they sent out you had to pick your computer specs.

So the initial process was just sending out random invites and seeing if they had the right specs? Thought some said they never got the survey. Dunno why they just didn't do the dxdiag upload like other games do.

That does seem kind of silly to me though. dxdiag is used for everything now. I'm sure some of us will be getting in the stress test at least. I'd imagine they'd send out to shit PCs as well.

Yeah, I brought up the survey deal when round 1 started and it's still foggy to me as I'm not sure who they sent surveys to and how they were chosen to receive them. All I know is they ask little on the beta app and they've said they are only supporting 64 bit in this phase of beta.

I accidentally signed up with two of my emails (I guess I had forgotten that I had signed up because one of the emails I rarely use) and one of them received the survey and the other one didn't. The Google mail one got the survey and the yahoo one didn't...and actually half the time I don't get the newsletter thing on the yahoo mail and I always get it on the google one. So maybe they're having issues sending stuff out? Idk.

Also, looking at that email again it's very possible people might have missed it. The title of the email is "Big News! Wildstar is Coming Later This Year!" so it says nothing about it in the title...and the survey thing was mentioned in a small box in the email.

I never received it either. It does seem really silly that they would randomly choose from their pool, then check their specs, instead of using dxdiag, then randomly choosing from the pool of appropriate specs. &#55357;&#56866;

I have a pretty beefy machine but I never received the hardware survey. There's still hope for a stress test invite I guess.
