UNACCEPTABLENope, it's just an old machine. Has like, 2 gigs of RAM, a nvidia 7900 GT graphics card, and a AMD 3700 64-bit processor, on Windows Xp.
IE, ancient. Was a beast at one time, though.

Most of these "Internet videogames journalists" videos, since they're being directly paid with ad money and / or goodies, are terrible, uninformative and highly deceptive. They don't even care enough to take people who are actual gamers, they just took some random new tech hipster guy with Rayban Wayfarers, Converse shoes and Grunge shirt, who probably got some history or sociology degree and who thinks Angry Birds is the pinnacle of modern gaming, pretending that's how everyone rolls nowadays. Watching a featured gameplay video from some anticipated game made by a "Internet videogames journalist" is as fun and informative as reading a chair user guide written in German. If the trade-off is good commentary for clicking, it's worth it.
I concur.Stop posting here and start suckin' dicks to get all of us into beta.
If you ever do a video and say something like " It has dynamic events where the player has the ability to change the world!!!" I will kill you.Commentary is usually bad in these videos. Wildstar should let me do some commentary.
Yup.So the "weekend" stress test only lasted for a few hours, servers went to shit and they called it quits?
Holy fucking overkill, what in the fuck are you even playing? Everything out there is barely scaled up from shit made to run on old crappy consoles. I have a five year old first-gen i7 and a 560ti and nothing runs choppy maxed out at 1920x1080, and shit like COD runs at over 100+ fps at all times.Last GPU refresh was 3 Titans thats 3k when Haswell drops means ASUS Rampage FIV that 400 and the Haswell extreme proc is 1K that 4400 right there. Wish I would have waited for the 780 but I didn't I got my panties ol hot and bothered I bought one then said fuck it and bought 2 more. Last refresh was less but it goes between 3k to 5k.
He's getting 45fps in Crysis 3Holy fucking overkill, what in the fuck are you even playing? Everything out there is barely scaled up from shit made to run on old crappy consoles. Hell, I look forward to the new consoles so that I can finally get games utilizing tech from five years ago.
Oh yes I forgot about the oblivious commentary which is most of the time 99% copypasta from presskit with a "heybuddy" touch, because they're not journalists, they're our fellow gamers, right. They're praising the gameI know it sounds harsh because everyone's gotta make a buck to eat, but these glorified reporters are mediocre at best, when they're not being fully deceptive because they have the publisher's balls surfing on their tongues. It's like going to Mexico and pretend to be a doctor because you know how to cut meat. Speak of Mexico, to be honest I have more respect for Tijuana whores than these guys, because at least in Tijuana, the job gets done.Commentary is usually bad in these videos. Wildstar should let me do some commentary.
Due to the way we design and balance WildStar you should not experience nerfs/buffs to your PVE experience because that ability is over/underpowered in PVP (and vice versa).I'm hoping the Cryptic devs don't tear this game apart for PvP. I'm tired of seeing MMO's PvE gameplay get balanced, nerfed, retuned or whatever you want to call it for the sake of PvP. But I got a gut feeling it will happen.
Thanks! That's reassuring news.Due to the way we design and balance WildStar you should not experience nerfs/buffs to your PVE experience because that ability is over/underpowered in PVP (and vice versa).
In WildStar, we balance all of our combat around a base creature we call "Bob". This entity has statistics that are what we expect the 'average' player to have at each level in the game. This means if we balance Bob so that a player kills it in 30 seconds, then we can assume that an average player will then kill another average player in 30 seconds. This also means that if an ability is overpowered in PVE, it's probably overpowered in PVP and will need to be addressed.
We also have some tools on the Crowd Control (CC) side of gameplay that will allow us to make CC's feel different in PVE than they do in PVP.
Due to our Breakout Gameplay system, we can make the effects on players be different than creatures. For example; when you stun a player they will be able to fight to get out of the stun faster, but a creature does not get this opportunity

Since gear is dedicated by design (with stats only being useful in PvP) you WILL have inconsistencies. A soon as people gonna figure what stat is best, you will have mandatory abilities balance between PvE and PvP. Like some random CC stuns the PvE target for 10s when that CC stuns the PvP target for 5s, crit triggering procs or heal being less powerful. This can too affect combos, synergies and rotations. We're talking about a game with dedicated gear here, you'd be a fool thinking balance is designed around target dummies. You can call it Bob, Vladimir, Mein Fhurer or even Mom, it's gonna be the same balance circus than any other MMO. The only question here is "how competent will they be ?". The "promising MMO" graveyard is full of goodwill design and encouraging ideas. Thanks! That's reassuring news.
