Being aware of your environment/surroundings is fine, but it's a tough balancing act trying to teach players to "get out of the bad shit" and "stand in the good shit!". Especially when the effects of both are usually pretty indistinguishable.

Looking like Esper for me. Unfortunately explorer was the path I was most stoked to play, but their path abilities look pretty garbage compared to the others.

The wildstar telegraph system seems to color-code everything though, so it shouldn't be a matter of "Ok, that green glow, is it a heal zone, or is it the mobs poison cloud?". It's going to be a matter of "Red bad! Blue good!"

I'm curious how some of the medic abilities work. Most of their abilities seem to be "Send drones, detonate for increased effect". I wonder if that means they're a timing focused class more than a skillshot focused class. Like your drones auto home on people, but you need to reclick the ability to detonate them at the proper range to get full effect? Maybe I'm reading too much into too little actual data. The heavy use of telegraphs in Wildstar makes seeing this datamined list even less informative than it would be in WoW or the like.

I have no fucking clue what a "skillshot" is but I'm guessing "ground target with a travel time"?

Or what we called a "lead shot" since always.

Skillshot is common from LoL. Its any ability that doesnt have an auto lock on mechanic attached to it. So something you have to aim with travel time yes.

skillshot is basically anything without autotarget. ground targeting, as well as directional targeting are both skillshots.

Yeah they did, crazy news flash, LoL is a gigantic game and most people are familiar with it or other mobas.

Their skillshots don't sound too bad, of course I was only looking at some of the healing ones.. so I guess I may not know the best. But none of usreallyknow currently.
