LMAO. I certainly didn't spend my money "exclusively on games." I feel sorry for you really..I also don't know why you keep trying to throw Australian stereo-types at me? Are you that much of a child? You really need to work on your insults.
Yup, ignore the word 'almost' in my quote. good job.
I also spent money on all the normal kid shit... Clothes, going to the movies, an occasional 40 of something cheap. But ya, almost all my discretionary income (which was a good portion of it) went to games. Bought my own consoles, bought and rented discs, computer hardware upgrades, EQ sub, etc etc.
Either way, many of my friends did the same thing I did. It was very uncommon in my 15-19 year old peer group to not have a job, and to not spend our earnings on whatever bullshit we wanted. Including my EQ sub, hardware purchases, game rentals and hardware purchases, I'd have to estimate I spent anywhere between $100-200 a month on gaming. Show me an adult (who isn't very well off) that would even think of doing something that retarded.
Wtf is to feel sorry for? I did very well in school, was quite well liked, had a steady friend group, a steady job that was decent for a teen (worked shipping and recieving at a Nike store. $2 above minimum wage and free kicks. sup?) two pretty long term girlfriends in HS... And a hobby I loved that I spent money on. I even had enough money left over when I was 19 to buy myself a shitty used '97 Sunfire... Life was pretty good for a kid.
Aussie stereotypes? I fucking love Vic bitter... It wasn't an insult
