I don't think it's worth creating a new thread about it, but for reference here is the Top 20 of 2025 as voted by 5 friends of mine and myself. Note that it's based on the release schedule in Switzerland, so some films have been in last year's Academy Awards (like the winner) and some films that are in this year's AA will be in our little competition next year (like Marty Supreme or The Secret Agent).

8 Sirât - French film about a man looking for his missing daughter in the microcosm of rave parties in northern Africa.
