episode 1 was pretty faggy but it gets more interesting in 2/3 in a good way

Dunno if anyone else watching this but it's really interesting. Girl fighter pilots in kind of a western style and they escort blimps to and from places using early WW2 style plane dogfights. Good stuff. Found it on KissAnime only so far.

I gave it a try the other day and while the CG animation is passable, the dogfights are great. Ep 2's combat wan't quite as good as Ep 1, but I'm going to keep watching this one unless they massively fuck something up.

The original author, Go Nagai, is only able to achieve climax through 2 means:
1) nubile naked boy ass
2) eternal suffering for every character he writes

Every iteration of Devilman ends in tragedy more or less.

Edit: I liked the wonky animation it had and really enjoyed the soundtrack.

The Raccoon girl is getting pretty strong. Decent episode. It feels like this story is going to be Shield Hero swaying the opinions of all the neighboring towns and (possibly) having an uprising against the crooked King. That might be wishful thinking, but I like the story.

It's my understanding that the Devilman universe is on a never ending loop designed to make Satan suffer. Better luck next time? Maybe Crybaby season 2 will be Violence Jack.

Netflix is odd with how they push and advertise their various originals so Lend may not have noticed it until now. 3rd Godzilla animation they did was out not too long ago and I didn't like the nihilistic ending too much.

The entire series was pretty damn nihilistic. Still crack up when the apocalypse is going on full force and everyone's still got cell phone coverage.

It's the most convenient apocalypse for everyone. Younger kids won't even realize they're dying because they're too busy on YouTube app with their phone.

This week's Slime was probably my favorite so far. As for Shield Hero, I'm assuming Raphtalia looks older because her level has gone up? They kind of hinted at demi-humans having something special about them but never explained it, maybe they will later in the series?
