kingdom has a religion where they ONLY worship the OTHER three Hero's- and hate the shield hero.

the king is a paper ruler, he spoils the princess rotten and believes everything she says/does.

The TRUE ruler of the kingdom is the QUEEN (who is -conviently out doing trade deals and treaties) and she is with the actual Heir of the kingdom...

the 3rd girl to join up with SH's Crew in about ~5 episodes is my guess- she comes after the umm third wavewave (and the SH is the only one of the heros to read the "help" menu about summoning others)

third wave "boss" beats the other 3 heroes like a red-headed step-child, SH saves them all/defeats her
oh and cursed shield/rage sheild...isn't necessarily a good thing.

Isnt there some dark series out like Abyss going on atm? Or am i thinking of Goblin Slayer that just finished?

That aside i dont think anything will top Shield Hero this season, i wonder how much of the novel the series will display.

i am in the middle of episode 1 now - this shit is fucked!

Magical Girl Spec-Ops...jeez. Just torturing the girl and cutting her arm off. I doubt they can magic medicine that back unless she becomes a magical girl later.

Kotobuki was pretty good as well. Love the aerial battles.

Black Clover - Festival of Filler!
Boogiepop - Was a week behind on this one. Getting weirder. I like it.
Hinomaru - A tournament where a full round gets finished in 1 episode. Fuck yeah.
Magical Girl SpecOps Asuka - That's going to leave a mark.
My Roommate Is A Cat - Haru may end up giving Raphtalia a run for her money for best girl this season.
Mysteria Friends - Dragon cheesecake ^2. Pretty animation, though.
Radiant - Well, I can't blame Seth. Hot older woman steals his first kiss then suicides to help him escape. That would mess anyone up.
Slime - Shut your mouth, Tits! Pretty sure this is going to go past where the manga is at by the end of this season. Looking forward to it!
The Morose Mononokean - I wonder if this was a standalone episode, or if Kinako will be joining Ashiya's harem.
Shield Hero - The eternal power of sammiches.

I know the US voice actor market is basically the same 11 people recycled ad infinitum. While I know that there are a lot more over in Japan, it still seems like there's a very large amount of recycle going on with most shows. I guess it makes the VA career a lot more lucrative/consistent, but it is still kind of funny to hear the same old guy voice used in roughly every other series, hah.

Seems fitting! I wonder if the casting director picked one, then got both to sign due to seeing them work together in Bunny Girl?

Such a great Shield Hero episode. Quickly taking over as my favorite show of the season.
