I don't understand this clip at all. It sounds like he's talking about something entirely different than what the question was? He explains how the system works and some of the design philosophy (most people are soloing raid content that's two expansions back, those are Legacy encounters and use Legacy loot) but doesn't explain at all why people that attempt raid content only one expansion are forced to use personal loot and doesn't give any justifications for it. You don't envision very many people doing raid content from one expansion back. Okay. Can you explain why you are giving incentives for people to not do raid content from one expansion back?

On another note, it looks like the new version of the Blood Elf racial can remove ANY buff in PvP. Including Ice Block and BoP.

But yea... the 1.5 second silence was too OP. Hah!

His public speaking ability is fine. He's fairly eloquent. The problem is he's an arrogant twat who thinks his audience is stupid.

Actually, nevermind you're right. Not patronizing your audience is a pretty integral part of public speaking.

I have attempted to give that justification based on previous answers in previous interviews and extrapolating their reasoning but what the fuck do I know. We will just go with the have no reason for it instead.

There is nothing wrong with your reason.

In the clip that was provided he doesn't give that reason or any reason at all. The question he is asked is about whether or not they are going to change how restrictive the new system is going to make previous-expansion transmog hunting. His answer is to explain the system and say that most people aren't soloing raid content one expansion back. That is not the same as giving a reason why players are discouraged from soloing raid content one expansion back. Why are people being discouraged?

Again, there's nothing wrong with your answer but in that Q&A he doesn't give it.
