think it will be more like 10 years before Xmen come back, if everyone doesn't burnout before then

i got bored so this has nothing to do with xmen but to show how much crap they are thinking about

Spiderman will be last of phase 3
phase 4 big story is supposed to focus on deep space/cosmic with The Eternals, GoTG3 and Cap Marvel 2
Black Panther 2, Black Widow, Dr Strange 2, Shang-Chi being the next solo stories

Another Spiderman leading to Blade and Morbius
Captain America/Falcon and Winter Solider
Ms. Marvel
War Machine + Ironheart + Iron Man 4
Fantastic Four will probably have another 5+ year wait, but for the love of God, not another origin story.
Nova - would probably be Kid Nova
Thor 4 - people seem to want jane foster's story, Hemsworth would probably be all in for girlpower
Namor - maybe if Aquaman had bombed
Captain Britain and the Black Knight
Ant-Man and the Wasp 2
one of the Avengers spinoffs .... West Coast Avengers, Young Avengers, Great Lakes Avengers, etc
Moonknight - who doesn't want a magical nutjob movie
Nick Fury - i don't care

not even counting any of the other Fox movies, like Venom (made $850mil worldwide) and the ones that were supposedly in the works Kraven, Mysterio, Carnage, Silver Surfer and Sinister Six.
Silver Sable & Black Cat was already scrapped and changed to solo movies supposedly for D+

I don't think they're using any of the previous fox stuff as canon, other than maybe deadpool, so everything will need a proper origin introduction again including xmen and fantastic four. But yeah I can see them waiting 5+ years before doing anything.

As for sony, they seemed to be planning a bigger spiderverse, they may even end their deal with marvel on spiderman thinking they can do it on their own again since into the spiderverse and venom did well enough.

They could just use the Xmen in deadpool, change what's necessry, Deadpool could even comment, 'that's funny, are you all new actors now?'.

It looks like they are legitimately introducing the "multi-verse" via the next Spider-Man movie. And it's the last official Sony/Marvel project. But if that's the case they can simply roll that the whole existing X-men universe was in one (probably 616), and the current MCU is officially universe 199999 (although it's closest parallel in the comics would be 1610). Then they weave in the Ultimate U version of mutants. They bring Deadpool straight over involving some appropriately comic reason, i.e. he got drunk, decided to go beat up an evil scientist and got ported over somehow or whatever convenient Maguffin they need to get him over.

MCU is 616. Mysterio even says it in one of the trailers.

estimates has it dropping another 61% this weekend with only $3.6mi for a total $60.1mil in the US

of xmen movies, it is 12th of 12 in earnings and The Wolverine is in 11th with $132m

I wonder how bad it feels to know you got beat out by Wolverine, it's like the M.Night of the Xmen world.

I watched this movie for free and still felt ripped off.

X3 is better which is a sad state of affairs

If you mean Origins then yeah, that movie is a giant turd. The Wolverine while not particularly good is a masterpiece compared to many of the mutant movies.

Silver Samurai was the worst part of The Wolverine to me, otherwise it was a fine movie.

Yep-- biggest swing and a miss. Phoenix is otherworldly and unrelatable.

The Phoenix character was never in this movie.

The namesake is Dark Phoenix but there's no Phoenix.

did magneto get de-powered in the last movie, or did he just for get how to magneto?

I would have loved to see a real Dark Phoenix movie
