I think it really depends on what they mean by "very early". Brad et al should specify more likely dates. (Ie are they bringing those folks into current closed internal testing at the close of the kickstarter? )

Has there been any discussion about a reddit AMA? I have seen it suggested a couple times, but haven't seen Brad comment on that.

The main issue, as I see it, is it would require a lot of time to moderate, to keep it from turning into the typical cesspool of almost all open "official" forums. So much bickering and bitching, would most likely turn off more then on.

I don't know draegon, but I will say, there are companies and consultants that focus exclusively on these things. It is all about effective marketing. I'm in shock no one there had the wherewithal to realize they needed it.

East/west commons also used to have these zone lines. There were a mix of both types in EQ. The ones he is talking about (small area) is if there was a tunnel or path through a mountain, or something. I didn't have an issues with both types in EQ. The maps were different.
