    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

I don't get the rhetorical question, but I'll answer on the off-chance it actually isn't one. Different reasons ofc. Some people don't like Kickstarters and borderline scam games. Some people feel a lot of those guys making small shitty games are further ruining the industry by introducing...

    Tom Clancy's The Division

Nah, you don't have to finish every side mission in the game. You only have to finish every side mission and encounter in a particular zone. So if you're in the Tenderloin district and finished the things there, you unlock that zone for local HVT missions if you want to grind intel only. You can...

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

It's like someone said "I saw this cool video on the interwebs. Can you make a game that looks like this?" I like the YT version better though. You can shoot some hoops, sneak into the house, raid the fridge and drop a deuce under some kid's couch cushions when no one's looking after you're...

Star Citizen Online - The search for more money

I get what you're saying but I think you're missing the point. The reason those large companies don't have the same unprecedented level of openness is because they are using their own money, point blank. It's their resources and their money so they will release what looks good and hold back...

Star Citizen Online - The search for more money

Well, don't they kinda have to? I mean... they took folk's donated money, promised a helluva a lot, got accused on financial stuff by Smart publicly (true or not) and they couldn't exactly say "none ya" to everyone after that. They are showing the same amount of openness that Camelot...

    Crowfall

The name branding should also be easily transferable to ridicule in case your game fails to achieve it's desired sustainable playerbase: Crowfell, Crowfailed, CrowfallenandIcantgetup, etc. Not saying it will, but at least it's got that built-in branding right off. I think that's one of the...

    EQ Never

Sounds like you just described FFXI more or less. Closest thing to a EQ clone I've seen.

Speaking of Crowfall:Tully Ackland on Twitter: Gone.

    Black Desert

Well, I can already say that I like it much better than Blade and Soul, speaking as a clicker. There just is a lot more to do in this game than 'bam bam bam' endlessly all day. And thank God the running from place to place isn't near as slow as BnS.

    Black Desert

What intrigues me is that it appears to have a RTS feel to it with the logistics. That's something that isn't usually needed in an MMO so I'm interested in trying that out. Also I'm lazy as Hell so that auto-pathing feature is right up my alley.

Blade and Soul - Kung Fu Korea - Action MMO

Macros and animation cancelling. As you said, the combat is slower so it's a lot easier to ani-cancel and games like Rift can be played just by literally pressing three or four macros. Even 'action' games like DCUO can be macroed easily. Honestly, the thing that makes BnS different from...

Blade and Soul - Kung Fu Korea - Action MMO

Yeah, BnS was all wrong for me. Boring as well as tedious. If Black Desert turns out to be more of the same and the crafting/explo/social stuff bores me as well, I'll (swear off Asian shit and) sell you the Conqueror's pack cheap.

Blade and Soul - Kung Fu Korea - Action MMO

I haven't beta that game so not sure. One thing I do know is it's more of a complete MMO which is what I'm looking for.. crafting, exploration, social shit. BnS never felt that way, felt like a single player experience or just a bunch of guys beating on a boss how the dungeons were ran...

    Black Desert

Looking at the Conqueror's Pack. Haven't thrown any money at an MMOs lately, just 100 at The Division so guess I'll spring for this one. Looks like the benefits are worth it vs Standard here especially with the mount since I heard it's a lot of travel; they even throw in some cash shop dough...

Blade and Soul - Kung Fu Korea - Action MMO

As one of the people who had it, moved onto KFM 20 then quit after falling asleep spacebarring through content, I would but I simply don't care that much about this game. I'll give Black Desert a go though since that looks 'retard' proof, skill wise.
