    Battery operated lawn equipment?

I wish I could go with battery powered stuff, but I have too many trees, and too big a property. We maintain about six acres of lawn, and then a whole boatload of trails and other spots. No way I could have enough batteries for all that. I stick with gas powered stuff, mostly Husqvarna. Their...

I've recently become quite good at roasting coffee. There is something magical about a well roasted coffee brewed very shortly after roasting. Then, my doctor told me I had to get off caffeine completely. Well fuck. So I'm roasting decaf. Not as good. I continue to roast the real deal for my...

    What tickles your pickle

Playing hockey tonight I deflected a wicked hard slap shot from the blue line in over the blocker of the net minder. Heavy traffic in front of the net. It's so bloody satisfying when that works.

Sharpening a chain is super easy with very little practice. You can also buy guides to fit on your file so your angle is right. It's seriously worth figuring out.

Cruises: Good Value Vacation or White Trash Rafts?

On my vacations I typically hike 6-12 KM per day with a pack on in the mountains. A cruise sounds dreadful to me. I've never done one, have no plans to do so.

I have never been to a good Taco Bell. I've tried it many times, but every time the food comes out wrapped badly, beans or whatever all over the outside of the wrapping, and the ratio of beans to wraps to whatever is off. I have literally never had a good Taco Bell experience. Consequently, I...

Yeah, that was pretty great. Edmonton is balls to the wall here, but they just can't connect. The pressure is all Edmonton, but they are behind by one. Guess we'll see what the third has in store.

Pulled the battery, it's totally done. Fine. Go to autozone, they want $189.99 for a replacement. Called Batteries Plus (or whatever), they give a two year warranty on the same battery for $99. Nice. Also, what weight of oil would you guys put in a BMW for spring riding? I'm thinking 5w30

    What vehicle do you drive?

I hate Jeeps. Friends of mine have one, have for decades, and there is no cargo space whatsoever. I'm talking the old-school jeep with the big, knobbly tires and convertible. They have two kids, so if they all go to the grocery store, no possibility of getting the groceries in the vehicle unless...

Poll How often do you report posts?

I reported only one, I think, which had someone dying in it. I didn't think there was any circumstance under which it was okay to post that, so I felt it right to report it. Other than that, whenever I see bad posts I merely neg Tuco for the injustice.

    What vehicle do you drive?

Go and spend some time in Montana or Colorado or similar places. It seems like 3 out of 4 cars on the road are Subarus. They're pretty solidly built cars and they're good in snow. But they get shit mileage and look like turds.

So what do you bros think: I didn't take my battery out over winter (like an idiot), and it's flat dead. Hooked it up to the charger, and the charger registers it as perfectly fine, ie. it won't charge the battery, light stays green. Turn on the ignition, and the charger light flicks over to...
