I had never done proper Sunwell raids in retail when they were new because I was benched from raiding at that point. It was pretty easy to solo at high level, though.

Presumably. If they're advertising the game this early, it may also be an attempt to fish for talent hires.

I liked this cutscene - pretty in line with Mengsk's character and the Dominion. My favorite SC cutscene is the Heart of the Swarm intro

So I had missed what the dude said on stage, but he said "open world shooter". Asmon could be BSing, but he claims that he has info that explains why the release is so far away and suggesting that is a good thing. A Helldivers type game wouldn't really explain that away, so it could be they...

No shit, I got all hyped and then they're like "2030 lolololol" Fuck you! That being said, do we even know what kind of game this will be? Trailer seemed to have a Helldivers vibe to it - not that I wouldn't mind a Starcraft Helldivers type of game.

I remember all the hassle in getting the first batch which were the gold colored carts. I was able to get one easily, but all the late comer preorders were raging about it and the resale was bonkers for a bit

The green one was interesting - was more like a spread than what we usually associate with a salsa. I didn’t get much garlic flavor, but it had a very strong fresh jalapeño flavor to it. Would probably be good on a sandwich or something else you wanted to add that flavor profile to by spreading...

Sure, most have fresh salsa. Although most of the places around me have mediocre shit unless you're just getting some pico de galo.

I saw these over the weekend - was like $5 something for a jar. I bought the green one but haven’t tried it yet

Oh nice, I had hundreds of billions of credits from doing the cobalt resell strategy but not much to use it on

Interesting - doesn’t change much for Chronicals, but puts the proper mmo into a question mark since the dev house is changing

The MSQ is ultra short, although it technically is a continuation of the 7.5 one. We get introduced (presumably) to the next job (Runeforger?) as well and a lot of pre-xpac lore

Wrong thread?

How old? Mine is over a decade I never got free premium

16 had some good things going for it: The story was pretty decent until after Bahamaut. Boss fights were pretty cinematic and cool. Music was good (Soken). But the side quests felt so useless - almost like they added them for the sake of adding them, but they ultimately did nothing except...

That looked pretty janky - I'm still wondering what Chronicles is actually going to be game wise.

Very narrow genre interest it is

They updated the main site for the upcoming patch. Apparently that pink haired cat girl from the Evercold trailer is in it. People noticed that an image of her shows that she appears to have a crossbow attached to her back, which might be the hint of the upcoming ranged dps job

Female hawk VA was fine I thought - it's the same VA as female V in Cyberpunk 2077 I think

That's common in lots of places - it's hard work and frequently for very little pay or volatile pay.

Might need to do this for the mounts since I don't have those. Final major patch before Evercold also comes out Tuesday, including the finale of the MSQ for Dawntrail

Cly is probably my most elite unit as well. Tel is really good also once you get her leveled up. Her crits will one shot a lot of units as well and force pushing/pulling stuff to instakill or negate cover/pull into overwatch s really powerful

Season 3 of Foundation was really good I thought as well (Empire/Daemazel stuff mostly)

Was mostly a good site to check steam player counts on games, current and historical

Timers can work in very specific instances. But adding a timer in an open world game is dumb. It would be like someone drops you off in Rome and says “you have two hours to explore, then we leave”. Sure, you can see some stuff, but you’re just going to be bitter that you didn’t have enough...

The Lower Deck writers actually knew the lore, so that would be an improvement

Meh, not good. I hope that doesn’t impact their ability to provide additional content updates or expansions

If they didn't learn their lesson from TLOU2, then the answer is no

All good suggestions. I think a “simultaneous operation” would be cool. Like you have an operation that requires two things to be done and requires two squads, but the actions of either squad effects the other Like one team has to bring down a shield or cause a distraction, which makes it...

I slept on pistol until I saw how useful it could be on the Mando. The low AP cost and good damage output are nice

I would disagree - cover in this seems a bit more complex. First is the sturdiness of the cover - cover types matter because some of it falls quickly to blaster fire. Xcom mostly had a lot of indestructible cover not counting explosives or super high powered projectiles. The game also seems...

I mean you don’t have to use any story characters outside a few mandatory missions - you could roll with 100% custom since you can customize the appearance of the mercs you hire

Speaking of spicy, is Dave's Hot Chicken any good?

In theory it lets you customize your squad a bit more, but I agree I end up using either the story/special characters (because they have unique perks/abilities) or stuff like astromechs. Again it kind of comes down to the limited squad size - why would I bring a random recruit when I can...

I stuck with the sniper rifle - made my sniper character do a secondary in scoundrel since it lets you ignore armor as a passive. They're basically an overwatch/assist terror. I enjoyed the mission on Bespin when you get to use that special unit - I basically spent their entire turn tossing...

Pretty much - it's a power scale nerf since humans were basically god tier by the end of the shows, but they leave the door open to introduce stuff as needed.

This game could do that easily - I've noticed it's version of dark events are permanent and usually you can only prevent 1 at any given time from going into effect Like my options were coil units all get grenades or melee hits build resonance. Grenades was the easy choice to get rid of since...

Both were. Although Artax was probably more traumatizing because as a little kid you thought the horse actually died

The 4 man squad limit is my biggest complaint about the game - it really limits your ability to mix and match or experiment more. It becomes even more frustrating on missions where it has some arbitrarily short time limit to do an action while simultaneously tossing 15 enemies at you. I had to...

Ya the trailer had like a crane that didn’t work or something? I barely remember that part of the toy because I never used it either My parents gave away my Transformer toys when I was a kid because I got guilted into giving them permission to give them away by like 4 adults lol
