Wow Nintendo is pricing stuff at an insane level. $40 each for the Mario Galaxy games is retarded.

    Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Finally beat this today. I think this was a great game but I agree not 10/10. Story and pacing was decent but strange. Exploration was awful. Basically unlocking everything when the game was basically over was a huge misstep I purposely went to Renoir instead of exploring based on what people...

Elden Ring - From Software + George RR Martin

Well sekiro is kind of interesting and one of my favorites. If combat doesn't click it's a miserable experience. So many people think you have to memories boss patterns to know when to deflect and that's only partially true. The key to sekiro is keep swinging until the boss deflects and then you...

Would be nice if there are any launch titles. My kids "beat" Mario kart world in like 2 days.

Perhaps I found Malenia easier because I've beaten her so many times. I found sekiros final boss difficult, but in the "putting in reps" and learning kind of way. He never felt unfair.

My goal with 5x5 isn't to use it long-term but rather regain some strength on compound lifts and then move onto something else long-term. My plan was to stick with it 3-6 months. I used to lift very heavy so part of my goal was to do what I enjoyed when working out to start for consistency sake.

Up to 115lbs 5x5 squats. Add 5 pounds 3x a week until I miss a rep. So far so good. Definitely know I will hit the wall soon. Funny thing with SL 5x5 is you squat every workout. My legs I can already see definition coming in the quads. Squats are actually my favorite exercise but when it's 3x...

Elden Ring - From Software + George RR Martin

I'm a stubborn dickhead so I used no summons and 2h colossal sword, so I kind of gimped myself anyways. I thought p1 of radahn was fine, but p2 was ridiculous. Like you said it was visual diarrhea on the screen and impossible to see what was going on. That was my biggest issue with the fight...

Elden Ring - From Software + George RR Martin

I found Bayle tough but not unreasonably so. Can't remember what scadu level I was at though when I got there. Radahn, at least pre nerf, was an absurdly difficult fight. Made Malenia seem like a cake walk.

Kinda want to get one for travel for work, if 2028 is correct I could stomach buying older hardware. Is the steam deck still superior to all competitor handhelds ?

We are hiring a soft eng 1 in the US and let me tell you the amount of bullshit we went through to get this req was absolutely retarded. Even worse, IT WAS A BACKFILL. Seriously it took maybe 4 months for the req to open. And of course.. they want a unicorn. A soft eng 1 with experience...
