So I've got my grandfathers old 47 delta unisaw. And I started doing some work on the table so far. I forgot a pic before working on it. But it was a good deep orange. thst spot on the extension is really deeply pitted. So that's staying I guess.
So I was driving around today and found someone throwing out a jointer. It's a delta either 45 or 47. And it's in pretty decent condition, just dirty. Only thing it's missing a motor and the pulls for the motor. So restoration project here I come.
Jokes on you. Those fish are used to it. https://interactive.wttw.com/chicago-river-tour/can-we-swim-river-yet I worked at a sewage treatment plant for 7yrs that had a daily flow of 60mil gal. And it wasn't a combined system. Knowing what I do now I will never go in the water at the beach...
So a while back I got a gargantuan tiamat. It came broken and the paint job was really bad. Like it was just maroon. Long story short. Got a replacement. The paint job on this one is great. It's like night and day. And the pieces actually fit together. Still not worth the price tag though...
o I got my grandfathers old '47 delta unisaw and it runs still. I really want to restore it though now. Paints still good but plenty of rust to remove. Any of you guys happen to have one of these? I don't know anyone who does.
Personally I always liked the d20 system over the rest. It just made the most sense. I really got into it when me and gang played 3.5 for like 5yrs. Then from there we transitioned to 4e. And they all took to it much more. Two of my friends played 3.5 chars for 5yrs and just "rolled to attack"...
Holy shit, no bloat AND they are removing old content. Who has naked pictures of Chris Wilson in lipstick as blackmail? If we had nudes, he'd be fixing trade.
I really want to get into printing my own stuff. Just the sheer amount of different printers and and configurations is daunting.
I also did a KS for for labyrinth inspired scenery pieces. So I mainly want to start printing those. Hagglethorn Hallow was the name. The stuff just spoke to me.
So I got gargantuan tiamat for Christmas. I just got to open it up today and it's fucking broken in the box lol. The tail is messed up and doesn't fit and the torso was broken off the base because one leg is angled wrong. Not gunna lie kinda disappointed.
Nah I know I'm a broken record lol. As much as I enjoy this game it also aggrevates me more then any other game. Except for demon souls. Fuck that pile shit.
I don't why they don't just merge the event stuff with the seasonal characters at the end of it. Like who the fuck cares. It won't wreck the economy. Just let us enjoy the game that much more.
So one of my players asked me to do a one off Christmas adventure. I've never done a Christmas d&d before. And I was also asked to include krampus in it lol. So now I've got to think up some not the usual Christmas shenanigans. Oh and a few Christmas themed items as well.
So this year's Halloween event was fun. It ended up with way more Young Frankenstein references then I anticipated. Which was welcomed lol. One of my friends was sitting there yelling "put the candle back". And it all ended with a blue dracolich that was being used for its electrical magic...
It's nice now that I have say 6 to 8 weeks to plan. But I always find the more I plan the more the guys go and do what they want. So as I plan things i kinda have to just throw in bullet points for myself so they can bounce to what they want to do.
A few times I literally planned like 2...
I also run games almost as if they are one offs. We only get to play. Every 6 to 8 weeks. So we over all the story just is continuous. But I like to try to finish what we start each night. Mainly cause no one remembers anything from the previous game. So trying to pick up is a nightmare lol
Oh no. God killing is out. That's just not a thing I'll ever be having them do. I mean maybe once everyone is 30 there may come a time to slay an avatar.
My crew is also lazy. Like no ones ever asked to buy or craft armor so no one has like every item slot filled. They also have never even...
Yeh I really like the whole 5e approach on stuff.
My 4e group has finally began cresting into epic territory. Snd that's after 10yrs. 1 of us is 21 and 4 more will be by November.
And for the first time since we've started playing. I've actually sat down with them all and showed them feats...
So there was a small 50mb patch this morning. Didn't fix anything on my end. And I know it's not my system even though it's old. My buddy has a 3060 and he gets stutters as well. He even dis all the fps limiting to drop his gpu usage down. It was maxing him out at 99%
I could never do those pre-written adventures with my group. They would spend 6hrs on 1 pave of it and get 0 accomplished.
They actually all wanted to do some tomb of horrors stuff. (The 4e one) So I was like ok cool. So I incorporated it into two sessions. I went through maybe 4 pages od...
