Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver (2024)

Nah. The good guys have the red light sabers and the bad guys the blue ones. If that isn't innovation, I don't know what is 🤣 Also getting increasing A-Team vibes from this. Hope there's a full-on-OG-montage of them preparing the village for the space-empire-grain-collectors, complete with a...

    Tenet (2020)

So people carried the wreck through an inversion machine? Obviously the "pre-crash" car from the "car's perspective" was inverted. But what happened to it going back in time after it crashed (i.e. before the crash from a non-inverted perspective). 1. October - Car is inverted in the inversion...

    Rebel Moon (2023)

That "snyder-cut" stuff is just pure marketing bull at this point. It probably was a real conflict between Studio and Snyder for Justice League. But it's 100% all set-up with full knowledge and agreement by Zack Synder to just milk that non-sense for every movie he now makes until it stops working.

    Rebel Moon (2023)

Man of Steel was shit. Same fugly instagram filter of the whole movie. Annoying product placements. Zero basic understanding of the Superman character to begin with (and not just the neck snap, that was actually ok compared to wrecking truck drivers and what not). Man of Steel is arguably...

    Marvel Universe stuff

Same thing. There is no canaanite ethnicity. It's a vague catch-all term used in the bible refering back to an even older civilization of people that are part of what, ethnicity-wise, we now call Arabs.
  8. Z

    Marvel Universe stuff

Yeah. Also still annoyed the portray Jesus with blonde hair and blue eyes instead of the Arab he was, lol.

    Tenet (2020)

I still wanna know how/why/where there was a wrecked car before it reverse crashed into a functional one again (from a normal time perspective). Was there just a car wreck lying around on a major highway for a couple of decades, slowly un-rusting and un-degrading until it got to the reverse...

    Rebel Moon (2023)

Probably. Except the writing, action, acting and plot are worse than the 2010 Ultramarines movie.
  11. Z

    Rebel Moon (2023)

I mean, he's basically the Shyamalan of nerd action. He did 300 which was pretty decent and also just new for it's time. And has been coasting on that schtick ever since, making progressively more shit movies as time passes.
  12. Z

    The Marvels (2023)

Suuuree Somebody's brain got eaten by a few too many brie larsen hate-vids, it seems.
  13. Z

Star Wars general purpose movie stuff

Could've just answered "because of YouTube", instead of posting more examples of this shit
  14. Z

    Napoleon (2023)

Phoenix aged as he was in Gladiator, probably would've been. Phoenix now at 50 playing a guy that is for the majority of the events shown in his 20s is kinda weird.
  15. Z

    Killers of the Flower Moon

    Book is a lot better
  16. Z

DC Universe (Batman vs Superman thread).

Why? Hetero people don't have sex only one way around
  17. Z

    Barbie (2023)

Most Indy VOD will probably be mis-clicks by people looking to stream Indy 3 or some such.
  18. Z

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)

Which is the issue. At this point, Mission Impossible is basically high-budget Jackass without the fun.
  19. Z

    Deadpool & Wolverine

Jesus being race swapped to a blonde, white guy is still super-popular.
  20. Z

    Silo

Apple TV is really solid IMO. Definitely the one worth a sub, if I had to pick just one.
  21. Z

    The Creator (2023)

Yup. Looks great. Gonna bomb hard.
  22. Z

    Fast X (2023)

  23. Z

    The Marvels (2023)

  24. Z

    The Little Mermaid (2023)

Having the Little Mermaid end on a "happy ending" is and will always be a violation of the original. As are singing crabs. Don't think skin colour changes the metric here.
  25. Z

    Peter Pan & Wendy (2023)

The horror. Where's this gonna end? Next they'll be depicting Jesus as a white guy, I'll tell you. Somebody stop this!
  26. Z

    Star Trek: Picard

Alexander Siddig did plenty of other tV. He was in Game of Thrones. Shantaram. Peaky Blinders. Early 2000s he also did side characters in a few movies like Reign of Fire.
  27. Z

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)

Does it? Since all MCU heroes just randomly nano-tech their suits on and off anyhow, it no longer matters. Full CGI armies in front of full CGI backdrops aside, suits being just 100% CGI these days really felt bad in this one too. Ant-Man suit really was one of my favourites as a physical prop.
  28. Z

    Avatar 2 (2020)

Predator killing Stone Age retards that happened to have guns in a forest was the original though. Been done.
  29. Z

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)

Yeah, would seem so. - Misses his daughter being young / while older daughter has to be bailed from jail. - "We both lost time, I can help you with that if you help me" - Michelle Pfeiffer: "Don't trust the dude" - Showdown: "We had a deal, man, we had a deal!!" - Marvel 3rd-act punching ensues.

    Avatar 2 (2020)

My point is that trying to create fallacious associations of: "Homosexuality exists among animal species X" "But also rape exists among animal species X" Is no more logical then creating a similar fallacious association of: "Rape exists among animal species X" "Heterosexuality exists among...

    Avatar 2 (2020)

What’s next. Heterosexuality? Most filthy animals practice it too 😂
  32. Z

    Marvel Universe stuff

    Lame. Where's the memberberry-pandering nostalgia-bait Daredevil-multiverse cameo?
  33. Z

    Avatar 2 (2020)

Lol. There's lots of homosexuality among animals. And ducks, of all examples you could've picked, are notoriously famous for it. Mallards have a homosexuality rate of around 19%, lol.
  34. Z

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022)

Good movie. Not surprising from the guy who made the only good Star Wars since 1983.
  35. Z

    Fast X (2023)

    Clearly missing 2 X
  36. Z

    Black Adam (2021)

Missing the charisma, sex scandals, memorable one-liners, etc.. Not to mention the leading man potential to head blockbusters on his own without franchise or buddy-comedy support from better/funnier actors.
  37. Z

    Warhammer 40k

I mean, who in their right mind ever watched anything Henry Cavill for stuff above the neck? The proverbial paint drying has more acting range than that mug. From Superman to Witcher, the sole reason he's ever been in front of a camera were .... aaabbs.
  38. Z

DC Universe (Batman vs Superman thread).

Ezra Miller soon to be the last castmember standing? Lol. Who would've thought. DC quality-control is ruthless!
  39. Z

    Avatar 2 (2020)

What "risk" or "point" or "stakes" would there be? What story-beats even to bother with? If Pandora is destroyed, there's nothing to "fight for" for the Navi. Sure you can film somewhere between 3 and 30 hours of Navi and Humans punching each other, but if neither side has any stakes in the...
