Theres different needs for DPS. DPS in dungeons is always crowded. GOOD dps for raiding environment are a very hot commodity as they are the hardest rolls to optimize in raids and with all the hard dps checks having poor dps wipes groups.

It is brutal. We've been working on it with a 2 day a week raid schedule for weeks and are just getting to last part of the add phase. Improvement comes in millimeters if you're not super hardcore. And I'm switching from Monk to Ninja to try to make it a bit better.

Think you're right and its just if you have a higher level character. You should be getting rested + armory bonus. but if i recall rested only works on monster kills and leve turn ins don't think that bonus applies to fate xp rewards.

If you had a 50 already you were getting a 100% bonus once you hit 50 if you don't have a 60 you get 0% bonus if you have a 60 you get a 50% bonus that is why you saw xp drop like that. Also those people are crazy.

Maybe its easier to handle/enjoy if you liked old school jrpg's back in ff1-6 days.

You need to do every single side quests or you'll hit xp gaps where you're to low to move the MSQ on you still might if you don't do some roulette and dailies in. Easiest method is do MSQ until you hit next level cap then go back and do every single mission available in all zones.

Welp came back to ff14 after getting bored in wildstar. Didn't even make it to 50 I'm ashamed of my lack of gaming poopsocking now.

Ya i left game until 2.3 and just plan to do storyline stuff. The dailies and grinding stuff isn't that fun and really time consuming.

Goons are actually one of the largest and most active ff14 guilds as well. Also goons have never made a difference on server queues on launch of a game where queues are thousands deep usually 200 players from their forum isn't making a difference.

That mirror drop can go to hell. We had 2 groups farming for total of probably 16 hours and have gotten like 5-6 drops. (we've been cycling people from our selling extremes linkshell which has like 50 people)

Those things are for the non raiders to work towards over a long long time. There are other options for raiders which people are still figuring out. (Levi extreme is upgradable for i100 and the weathered weapons etc)

If it's on farm you can do coil 1-5 in under an hour if you're not goofing around. Primal in another 30-40 minutes. Farm generally isn't the guide on how long content takes though.

I think thats kind of unfair as new extremes are really hard at appropriate gear level , just all the raid groups out geared them at release. I'm thinking 2.2 extremes levi and GKM will be really tough since they'll probably be at coil 1-5 level of expected gear with 6-9 coming out.

The raid content in this game is very hard and one person can generally wipe a group if they play wrong so can understand why they don't want them but how is this different then raiding in any game? Currently the raid game will get easier in next patch for those people to pub it but until then...

That doesn't prove anything in this game honestly. It's really noticeable in hard mode titan to see people inside the pools not get hit because client shows things way delayed. Same reason when dodging mechanics you can't follow other players as if you wait for them to move you're going to get hit.
