I suppose this depends on what you mean by 'get into the game'. The first several quests are almost always a 'get used to the UI and controls" before they set you after a boss. But once that happens it's essentially nothing but bosses and killing them for their carves/items to make better...

Thanks for the response! My primary reason for the purchase either way is indeed MH3U, but having other games to play to mix it up a strong contender too. I'd say they are about on par depending on the 'other games'. Besides Pokemon X/Y(mild interest) and Zelda(much higher interest) I've seen...
