I just ran a twister build with oddball ancients everywhere else. I wouldn't hold out for ancient weapons; it's fairly easy to be honest.

I didn't like DMO AO when I tried it. Seemed excruciatingly slow compared to twisters. For a twister build, I like playing with Crown of the Primus in the cube vs. Ancient Parthan Defenders that most people use; big crowd control, dps, and mitigation boost. Ranslor's Folly helps quite a bit too.

Everyone switched to Arcane Torrent because it apparently has a much better proc coefficient than Disintegrate. The build is resource bound at the high end (even solo), so the additional Magic Weapon: Conduit and arcane power on crit procs become significant.

It's really not. A well rolled ancient Arcane Barb is arguably better than even an ancient Krider, and it's a hell of a lot easier to get.

+ sentry damage on shoulders/chest/rucksack. Multi-shot is more damage than cluster arrow, so I would enchant that on boots/helm (6% crit is priority on helm though). A good unbound bolt or arcane barb will out damage your nat slayer (1 hand xbows are only really viable at the 4.15 break point).

I easily get more legendary items farming greater rifts (30+). Usually get anywhere from 2-5 per run (definitely get a lot more shards too).
