Yeah, but he's definitely not getting re-signed.
Not getting signed by anybody.
Someone is going to give him $8M+ a year, too.
See, I don't think so. He won't be a starter after this year. He can either retire, or sit backup.
Guess we'll see after the season. I think it's laughable to suggest retirement. Unless he falls off a cliff the rest of the way I guarantee someone is going to pay him with his resume.
He's already fallen off a cliff. 37th in save % this year, 39th last year, 48th the year before that. I don't think he'll retire, someone will sign him and come to regret it. That someone will look at his bloated resume of wins and give him $7-8m.
On that note, will Holtby achieve the unattainable (for him) goal of 90% saves tonight? Doesn't look good so far (but then 88% seems pretty unattainable for Holtby at this point)
2nd goal against tonight where Caps literally hand the puck over to the Flyers to be in alone with just Holtby. Not sure what Kuznetsov and Carlson were doing there.
As a whole I don't know what the Caps are doing tonight. Absolutely getting dominated on their own power plays and as you mentioned the turnovers are putting terrible Holtby in a position where even a good goalie would likely give up something
Well, you go 0 for 5 on the PP and give up a short-handed goal against, pretty much fucked.
Anderson loses it for the Leafs again.
Am I the only one seeing this?
