Shit happens in Aimes, just ask Oklahoma State. If a fucking debacle (and a screw job on ISU) like that saves Mack...Austin is full of retards and they deserve what they get by keeping him around. College is never "a win is a win" like in the NFL...you actually have to watch the tape when you aren't playing a truly comparable opponent. ISU should be a grease spot for a program like Texas, right?
In post-game interviews, Mack Brown excused the play, saying that the player couldn't hear the whistle over the crowd. No shit...that's a guy I'd want to play for. If the Big 12 has any decency they won't fine him.
Look at this, this guy was allowed to remain in the game after this shit. Zebras really seem to have their heads up their asses this season in college football.

At least the ESPN announcing crew had the balls to all say they think the ball came out, with Rece Davis even saying "I think it came out, but they won't overturn it". That should have been a touchdown the opposite way.And here is the fumble that was blown dead and given back to Texas. The first whistle to blow the play dead was roughly around the end of the gif animation, with the Iowa State player 5 yards downfield returning the fumble, yet Texas kept the ball.

And ESPN is completely ignoring the play in their Sportscenter highlights. Note that ESPN is Texas's partner for the Longhorn Network. Fox Sports 1 is blasting the refs on their highlight show.
So glad we're out of that shitsack of a conference
