Highest expectations for A&M in the modern era, finish 8-4, unranked, 0-4 against ranked teams.

It makes a lot of sense. 57 yards isn't an atrocious distance, even if it's 20% that's way better than a hail Mary. Playing the odds.
If you're going to do this, though, you absolutely have to have a couple guys on the field who can prevent a return TD. Not ten fat guys and a kicker.

I can't really understand how saban could make such a rookie call. Not only did he go with a kicker who has only ever kicked twice in a game and missed one. He put out 7 offensive lineman to block on top of that. Absolutely zero thought to the fact they could catch it if short

Thanks for the time Coach O, thankfully once the bowl game is over you'll be going to whoever will have you to coach d-line. Kessler needs to never start another game as well, he's fucking horrible.

*One loss SEC champ goes to the BCS championship game.

*only applies if you are LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Florida.
Ya no shit. I'd be amazed if Auburn/Mizzou doesn't get in tbh. I mean we've had 1 loss SEC teams play the fucking SEC champ in the title game before. No way it ends up being FSU/OSU.

I could see Auburn making it with 1 loss because they have the win over #1. Not sure Missouri could do it if they win out. Auburn has a loss to a team that is #17 this week and Missouri has a loss to #10.

Someone has to give him a head job. After what he's done this year he deserves it. Maybe one of the Louisiana schools or something.

Missouris only loss is South Carolina, top 10 team

Double OT loss to SC without their starting QB. I mean. /shrug

What about that whole "beating the team that beat Alabama" thing? Not a factor. I just think it's fucking crazy if Mizzou wins the SEC title that they get bypassed as a 1 loss SEC champion whose only loss was to a top 10 team in double OT with their backup QB playing lol.

I just don't see a SEC team getting in this year. Yeah, Mizzou and Auburn are both probably better than OSU overall. The still have that loss. It still counts. OSU may even surprise people. I still hope they get blown out by FSU. Nothing would help vindicate the playoffs more.

Yeah fixed it, but they're still missing the win over #1 that Auburn has now.
True, the teams we beat didn't hold up their end of the bargain. Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss and A&M were all ranked when we beat them. They're probably all unranked ad of next week. Blech

Lol hell LSU could claim that....

Not really based on numbers, just a feeling on how the voters might go to overcome a small computer gap I would say Auburn but possibly not Missouri. Could be wrong. They might get the "we'll keep putting an SEC team into the championship game until someone can show they can beat them".

The fact that people are already talking about it as a real possibility says a lot about OSU and their conference as a whole.

This week there is a good chance Alabama is rated higher than Missouri, but it really won't matter because Missouri would have to beat Auburn and jump up in the polls after the SEC game.

Yup Alabama will likely be #4 or #5 following this week as well.

It's a double edged sword when you talk about beating ranked teams. They stay ranked if you lose to them, you beat them and they fall out of the rankings
