If they had Saban (and only Saban) ready to sign on the dotted line I wouldn't have totally eliminated the possibility of Mack Brown winning the Fiesta Bowl and getting fired the next morning. I mean, maybe super unlikely...but this is Texas and there's probably no doubt that the money behind the program has a big boner for Saban at this point. I don't think you could stuff that raging cock back in their shorts if Saban has actually communicated that he's ready to move.

Now with the Big 12 title and Fiesta gone? I think they'd call that bluff in a second. I dare you to fire me = gone with prejudice.

Holy shit , I didn't think they'd actually get Saban , but assumed Brown was done , now it's starting to look like it's Mack for 14.

It's a bit sad and funny from the outside.

After all this...nothing happens. Kind of like the last 16 school super conferences thing that fizzled out.

Mack still has an 8-5 season looming (I mean, I'm assuming Oregon beats them) so I'm not sure what he's really won here, besides a continued paycheck ofc. Not sure what Texas is willing to tolerate next season but it's probably not 8 wins with losses to BYU and shit.
