Those polyamorus degenerates elves got what they deserved, Luna did nothing wrong. Overall I liked it, though would have liked to see them flesh out what's going on with worshiping mommy dearest.

I've never played a single second of DOTA or watched any of it but watched this and enjoyed it. It reminds me a lot of D&D with a bit of Warcraft, especially the whole "dragons are infinity stones" kinda thing. I didn't really follow the lore and don't quite understand the motives of the main demon, the dragons, the Moon Goddess, etc but it wasn't super hard to follow along and just enjoy as a standalone series.

I don’t know that any of this lore is fleshed out in game, or at least it wasn’t the last time I played several years ago.

I'd think Valve would have to change a lot of things when DOTA went commercial. Kind of like when Counter-Strike went commercial all those years ago they gave all the guns fictional names. I played DOTA a long time ago with my WoW guildmates but remember fuckall about it however I do play Underlords pretty regularly on my iPad when I'm bored. I'd assume Terrorblade is the character that used Illidan's model in WC3.
Edit: Huh, looks like CS:GO actually uses the real gun names but CZ and Source did not. Never played GO so I'm still right!

Someone suggested this when I asked about any Netflix stuff that wasn't woke SJW garbage. Like many have already said in this thread I didn't know much of the lore going into this and have pretty low expectations but it was really good. Solid animation, decent world building, interesting story. 8/10 would binge watch this shit again and look forward to the next season.
