I feel like the part exposing how all of Bobby B's bastards have dark hair but Cersei's kids are blonde make the point that dark hair is dominant in GoT like it is in RL. I don't think Lyanna's hair is described though.
The first season they took special care (imo) to make sure everyones hair was dyed/wigged up properly.... Lannister = Blond, Baratheon = Black, Stark = Brown, Tygarian = White/Silver... what color is Jon's hair... not that it breaks the theory and the rhaegar one makes the most sence...hell if it didn't why did they bother to have LF tell sansa (twice in one telling? kinda) about that harrenhall tourney... usualy the show does not included unneeded backstory just for fanservice.

I think Taggor is reverse nostradouching, but I'll abide by now. Usually the way this works is one of you aspergers see something wrong and want to desperately argue it but know you can't so you try to be as sneaky as possible. Like a dog trying to slither over to a piece of meat.
I made the one response to him I felt I safely could, but it's not like spoiling the evidence for the various theories would make a difference. There really isn't much more evidence for the Lyanna/Rhaegar theory in the books than there is in the TV show, the only difference is the specific timelines given make the Robert/Lyanna baby implausible.

fine fine. Do you know if they mentioned anything about the tower of joy in the show?

doesn't really indicate it. It's such a cool piece of GoT history it'd be a shame if it isn't done in the show. It wouldn't even be a big budget thing. Just everyone being badasses.
Near as I can tell, that article is all speculation based on what we know happened in the books. None of the citations at the bottom point to any actual episodes of the show. The closest thing I've found to a Tower of Joy reference is Joffrey reading the book of brothers in Season 4 where it passingly mentions that Arthur Dayne, Oswell Went, and Gerold Hightower all died near the Red Mountains of Dorne fighting Eddard Stark.

My friend also brought up a theory I never thought about that Bran will eventually warg one of Dany's dragons

In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, Lyanna does appear, albeit only in flashbacks and visions. She is described as intelligent, tomboyish and willful, frequently compared to her niece Arya in terms of temperament and appearance.

Also, while Robb, Sansa, Bran and Rickon are said to have Tully features (hair color, eyes), Jon and Arya are said to be closer in appearance (which had made Sansa believe Arya was also a bastard like Jon, until her mother put Sansa's theory down). Arya is said to resemble Lyanna. In the same line of comparison with his "siblings"; while all their direwolves are described having dark fur, Jon's, Ghost is white - a color oft associated with Targaryen features.

tldr: Lyanna had dark hair like Arya and Jon

That theory has been flying around reddit for quite some time. They think Dany + Bran are each a head of the dragon, and not sure on the third. Tyrion or Jon sounds most plausible.

I don't remember which episode it was, but Ned told Jon he had something important to tell him, but some shit hit the fan and he never got the chance. It pretty much had to be something about his parentage.

Jon, Bran and Daenarys are the most plausible.

Victarion/Euron are an option with their little horn, but unlikely because they aren't in the show.

Tyrion is an option but probably won't happen just because he's not the warrior type, though he is more so in the books.

There's really no build up for it, none of dragons have any real features that would make them ammenable to a specific character, and the only character to express a real interest in dragons is Daenarys and Tyrion.

I think for me it would come down to Bran being able to warg and control a dragon and Jon being a Targaryen having some skill bonus to his Dragon Riding skillpoints.

I've always thought warging was how the Targs really controlled the dragons; it is plain that they can't be domesticated normally, moreso in the books than the series but still pretty apparent in the series too. As they get older, they aren't like lapdogs. Then you have the magic horns there to give a means of control for when the ability to warg skipped a generation or something...or maybe relics of old Valyria from where dragons and people to control them were more commonplace.

They'd have to get Sean Bean back for that to happen, if they were smart they'd have already filmed it during season 1 and just saved it for later.

I thought the ability to ride the dragons was more through selective breeding and appropriate temperament of the dragon? Didn't they say that only a few dragons were ridden in battle and most rejected it.

Is that really that hard to do? I didn't hear of Sean Bean being an ornery person.

In the books when Ed was trying to console Arya about not being a ginger like Sansa he says her aunt also used to have brown hair and was considered one of the most beautiful women in Westeros.

Yep he's already admitted to being open to return for a flashback. In fact, he inadvertently spoiled R+L=J a few years ago:

Sean Bean_sl said:
I could be wrong, but I think they might show flashbacks via Bran's connection to the heart trees.
Oh, yeah, yeah! And I'm his father, so that would be great fun! Just to go back to that for a while, it would be such fun to do. It would be great! It would be bizarre, but it would be great! So I guess if they're going to do flashbacks, then yeah!

Well, it's just my theory ...
But it's a good theory! And that should happen, shouldn't it? I've definitely got some unfinished business that needs to be resolved there. I'm obviously not Jon Snow's dad. And you need that to be revealed at some point, don't you? So Bran would kind of be the one having the flashback, and he would see Ned praying, right? And revealing those things? You never know what those guys are going to do with that. It's got to be something special. But I'm into that. I certainly would be into that. Print that! Give them a nudge. [Laughs.] Hopefully I'll get a call soon.

I don't think Bean has any insider info on the overarching storyline. I'm sure that information is vaulted to only a very select few HBO execs.

I don't think Bean has ever had an overarching thought at all. I love him as an actor. But fucks sake I've met smarter peanuts.

It's come up in this very thread before. I'm mentioned it back after Bran had his montage vision that included seeing the shadow of a dragon passing over King's Landing from above.
