At best, some anti-satellite weapon to let China know they can't just use their shit with impunity.

US, Russia, etc are still bound by the Outer Space Treaty which prohibits WMD in space or on planetary bodies. Even if they are still doing that, they sure as fuck aren't going to ever publicly announce it.

I recall the Wired article where a company got sued because they made a cheap diagnostic tool that let franchise owners fix most of the machine issues without a tech from the machine manufacturer. The service contracts and hidden shit is just a racket to milk franchises of money, so not surprising most just say fuck it and let the machine sit dormant
