Guess who's back from vacation.
You'd know this basic shit if you, ya know, actually had played the game at launch.
That's not an argument. Only people willing to play on Korean or Russian servers really know how the game plays out, and both are only accessible by jumping through hoops. No one knows how the game will play out in US/EU, partly because of being a chimera from stuff Amazon changed and/or left out at the beginning.
Opening with insults? (technically, it wasn't an insult, it was an observation) We're mid-discussion. You were the snobby cunt who "opened" with "have you read Bartle and Koster??" Just because you attempt to veil your insults because you think you're clever, doesn't mean they don't exist.
Oh, so you felt insulted? Because I asked a question? A bit sensitive, are we?
Let's circle back to the discussion back then: You wanted a progression path separate from the (perceived as hard) raids, and I wanted to know how you want to implement that, because "you have to be careful what you wish for."
Players WILL go the path of least resistance. The similar implementation of M+ in WoW as a parallel progression path has since been "fixed" by Blizzard over the expansions. All the quirks, hacks and other stuff has been patched out, and the edges have been sanded off, the dungeon mechanics became bordering on obnoxious, while the progression has been scaled down a notch or two, with some player power systems simply not available to M+.
Current M+ in WoW seems to be a pit of misery and toxicity.
It's obvious to me you're not interested in a real discussion, only in trying to feel smart by constant desperate attempts to make others look dumb. You're failing. Your "one-size-fits-all" game design philosophy is laughable.
No, it has been pretty obvious that you are only in the thread trying to play "the authority" on the game with long paragraphs, because you played so much. You want people to ask you questions, but at the same time you can't respond when poked. "But you were so smug!" - Yeah, you can't handle smug next to your own smug.
