Husband finished moving out today. Thankfully no drama or any bullshit from his family. They were in and out pretty quickly. My brother came over to hang out while they were here just in case any shit started, which made me feel better. Husband will be back in a week to pick up Bruce and Bruce’s things and that’ll basically be it. It definitely feels quiet and empty here but it’s also really nice being able to just say whatever the hell I want now when talking with friends vs. filtering myself in case he was listening. The friend I really like watched some movies with me after, which was nice of him and that also helped.

Just over 2 weeks until the court hearing and we both hope that’s the only one we’ll need and that it’ll just over and done with.

Judge finally signed after 9[!] revisions of the prove-up decree.

Cad Cad we spoke with a couple lawyers on a limited scope basis, and I guess Quisenberry is a local legend with how pedantic he is regarding decrees. As soon as we told them we were in the 415th, they were like "Oh, there's your problem." Thanks again for your help.

Congrats, glad it worked out. I had a case in that judge's court last year and we were called down 4 separate times for trial where we didn't end up going, and it turned out he had called multiple parties down (with clients, witnesses, everything) each time to make sure he had a trial ready to go, not caring what it did to clients/experts/costs. Just seems like kind of a self centered douche, but thats pretty standard for judges. At least he isn't lazy.
