SJW issues aside, frankly the old scheduling didn't make much sense in general - Marvel was going to have movies in Feb / May / July this year and then nothing until Captain Falcon in May 2024? Even if they aren't tinkering, delaying The Marvels gives the schedule more room to breathe. (And more space from GOTG3, a comparison I am guessing will do The Marvels no favors.)

Don't think they've ever had a single "lead" for any of their ensemble films. Even Civil War, which was a Captain America movie, was more like co-leads with Cap and Stark

I'm usually a prety big fan of sticking to the details of the source material, but man, MODOK really didnt translate well.
For the biggest problem with MODOK wasnt even the ridiculous look though, it was more that the whole character was just so fucking dumb. His scene with the daughter "I don't know what to be, just tell me what to be!" was so cringe. Just one of those moments you look up and go shit, I paid to see this in a theater
I don't know if there was ever a way to pull off the giant floating head thing, but this was not it.

Fuck, I KNEW there was something I wanted to compare MODOK to, and Little Brian Stelter is fucking exactly it. I kept telling people he looked like someone I knew but couldn't think of. Thank you!
