Royals are clutch as hell. They don't hit the ball much, but they hit it when it counts.

Not a Royals fan, but they are fun to watch even if they dont hit for power much. THey just hang around and steal games.

Game time for mY Dodgers at 3:30. Cant wait.

If the O's can get 5 out of Chen like they did Tilly last night, could be 2-0 by 4EST.

Chen scares the shit out of me, mainly because Detroit pounds lefties like porn stars.

Orioles need to get Detroit the hell out of the playoffs. Detroit owned the Royals this year, I don't want to even think about facing them in a playoff series.

On the flip side, Royals regular season record vs...

Angels: 4-3
Orioles: 4-3
As: 5-2
Tigers: 6-13

So yeah, don't want to face the Tigers at all, we have a winning record against every other playoff team this year.

This article is awesome. Fuck the Cards.

The Mayor Of St. Louis Is A Complete Dipshit
That thing the Mayor wrote was pure trash.

Having said that, I still don't get the hate on the Cards though. No biggie though, the Yankees will always be my 'go to' hated team. Of course, I didn't grow up in St. Louis, so I'm just an October fan really. And I don't own a single piece of Cardinal gear that everyone trots out this time of year.

I need to go buy a new Royals cap, though.

Everyone that doesn't have a team in the playoffs, feel free to jump on the Royals bandwagon. We're like Rudy, the 1980 USA Hockey team, and Rocky Balboa rolled into one. We shouldn't win a damn thing, but we've got a chance. It's fun to watch the little guy scrap it out and come out on top occasionally

also, our defense is a thing of beauty to watch

our outfield legitimately saved probably 2-3 runs last night, at least.

Only team in MLB history to be last in HR and last in walks and make the post season.

Also the first team in like 50 years to make the postseason without a single 20HR hitter or 80RBI guy.

I feel sorry for anyone who continued to watch that shitshow of an NFL game and not that game. The Royals defense was on fire.

Holy shit O's. Delmon Young cleared bases loaded on a double to take the lead in the 8th, 7-6. Detroit's manager is messing it up for his team, last night Scherzer should have stayed in to finish the 8th and again today Sanchez should have been left in instead of letting the relievers waste it again.

Well, the Cards continued their postseason dominance of Kershaw. 8 runs in the 7th inning, just wow. Carpenters at-bat was awesome.

I get the complaints about the Cards, but it's all nothing more than thinly veiled jealously from fans of teams who didn't make the postseason 11 out of the past 15 seasons. I'm not originally from St. Louis, grew up a couple hours away in Indiana. But I moved to St. Louis in April of this year specifically for the purpose of being able to go to lots of games (with my job it doesn't matter where I live as long as there's a decent airport nearby) and live 8 blocks from the stadium. This is definitely a baseball town. Check the attendance figures for the year, the Cards drew the second most. The Dodgers were number 1 as always because they have a humongous stadium and an even larger pool of nearby fans. The Cards sold 99.4% of their tickets for the entire year with a bottom-third sized metro area, no other team in baseball had a percentage that high. And the Cards stadium is not small, sold out is around 45k. Complain all you want but Cards fans support their team with the money in their pockets, they show up to the games. It's not like a lot of cities where the stadium is full and loud for a postseason game, whoopty-do it should be. The Cards stadium is full and loud for a game in mid-May.

People hate the cardinals because dipshits like you claim everyone is just jelly. Maybe if you fucksticks didn't call yourselves the best fans in baseball, then go around telling everyone how you are the best fans in baseball, people wouldn't call you a bunch of bragging douchebag assholes.

A very intelligent post. This is what fans of other teams that suck look like.

My team may suck, but you're still a loser who has to use the success of a baseball team to act like a dick on the internet. Congratulations, you are a horrible person.

It's always nice one someone aggressively confirms negative stereotypes about their fanbase without realizing it.

Like how everywhere I go people say "Wow, lifelong Royals fans really ARE handsome and delightful!"

Have tickets to dodgers/cards games 3 and 4. Hope I only have to use the first set and can put the $$ towards some NLCS goodness! Love October in STL!

It's funny here in KC. Game 3 and 4(if necessary) are in KC. I know a ton of people with tickets to one or the other. Everyone with tickets to game 4 were all worried before the series that they wouldn't get to a game 4. Royals win the first game, everyone is elated as it looks like we'dd have both of our home games. Then we win game 2 and everyones back to "oh shit, game 4 might not happen". No one even considered the possibility of a Royals sweep preventing games beyond the first 3, lol.

And CnCGOD, lets start rooting for a 21st century I-70 World Series. I can barely remember the first one, I'd love to see another.
