earlier they accused us of working for pantheon and here just to sabotage their latest in a long line of failed wannabe eq clones.

All i've ever said is not launching on steam = vaporware, scam, or intentionally ultra niche market, like expect 500 players. Every design decision they make seems to confirm they only want 500 players. Then the dev came out with a video stating they didn't wanna release on steam because they want to limit the game to ultra niche market they dont want anyone to even see it.

ya'll accuse me of shitting all over the game. I have not. I get it, you autists get us mixed up all the time. I do to, I think every single one of you faggots is Mr. Sox.

for the record, I have no problem with many of the design choices, I played EQ, Vanguard, pantheon pre-steam, hell I even played Ember's Adrift (which is the closest game to MNM by far). I just recognize this style of game will have a miniscule population, and the only way to do anything about that is to release it to all PC gamers (IE steam) and hope to pick up new blood instead of just a handful of 50+ year old retired eq players living on disability.

not releasing on steam is a huge red flag, it screams scam. The dev stated they aren't releasing on steam because they dont care to or expect to ever make any money with this and its just a passion project. I respect that, but you guys are deluding yourselves thinking its going to carry some thousands or tens of thousands of subs. It's going to be ember's adrift, sell maybe a few k boxes and have 50-200 peak concurrent users. I mean it'll work out eventually once they merge down to a single server, just take a bit of coordination to find other players to do anything, expect to box.

Enjoy, have fun, but you should definitely roll on the bot server even if you despise boxing because the nobox server will be a graveyard within a month and you'll have trouble progressing in group content.
