There are quests here and there- but yea find a group and a camp and adventure.

If your question is "is X basically like EQ" the answer is yes for anything. It's a love letter or stalker fantasy copy of EQ depending how you look at it.

Additionally, only noob zones are going to accessible; so it's basically just trying out the various starting experiences. They haven't had an open test since putting in Dark Elves or Deep Gnomes, so I will go check out their noob areas (I assume they get their own newbie areas).

Would have been nice to use the old open test characters to run around all the new zones they have put in, in the last 10 months or so, but oh well. Will be interesting to see what they are "going live" with, since I wont be playing this again unless they have some open tests before the 1.0 release.

essentially, deep gnomes as well as all the previous non human "evil" classes that started in NH now start in the underdocks. The DE have their own city and newb zone further out in the deep.
