I cannot even put into words how bad this season has fallen...

Ray Donovan was never a "Top tier" show IMO, but holy fuck!

Tonights episode was all over the place, ugh.

There were good parts - Terry and Darryl quoting blazing saddles, Mickey's ridiculously silly heist, Bunchie and his continuing dildo adventures, or Connor's excellent "but I don't wanna be a gardener" and the look Avi and Bridget give him.

but yeah any scene with Abbie in it is pretty much Titanic disaster, and Ray and his 99 Mafia problems are just not good. The mob executing a LAPD detective in her home just seems insanely stupid

I'm pretty sure Conor is a bigger fuck up than Mickey.

Has this season got better? I quit watching after the first couple episodes this season. I enjoyed season 3 quit a bit but couldnt keep watching season 4

it has its highs and lows. Most of this season was pretty meh, but this weeks episode was solid gold. If you binge watch it, its pretty good

This season had a great start but now where is it going? I wanted more from the Casino plot line but they killed that off. So now we are left with him taking down the Russian Sex trade? Conner shooting his dick off cause he watches porn all day?

Season one was amazing. Since then this show has been marginal at best.

Hmmm. Just found this pretty recently and am currently halfway through season 2. That`s a bummer to hear it goes downhill, I'm diggin it so far. I'll probably take a break to catch up on a couple of other series before moving on to season 3.

Conor fucking shit up again.

This episode wasn't bad...just annoyed it was 52 minutes. I like the buddy flick idea of Ray and ex-FBI director guy. Though I would have loved some flashbacks or a few minutes on the "Texan". The idea of Ezra having someone to do the super dirty shit to keep ray clean of it? Kind of interesting.

Not sure how the Texan didn't blast ex-FBI guy while in that building. His little tricked out M4 wasn't enough vs the man with a stick and pistol.

show's back to sucking after 1 decent episode. entire season they build up the russians as these fuckers you don't wanna cross, that will nuke your entire town if you cross them. ray kills one, only thing that happens is they rescind their protection on his dad in jail (which never made any sense anyways). yeah, no doubt more retribution is coming down the road but honestly the entire donovan clan should be dead right now, but all ray can focus on is his dad...

man, if they would only blow up the gym, we could get rid of this fucking terrible marisol sub plot

For the most part, women characters in this show are just awfully written. The only exceptions to that are Lena and the One Boob Russian.

This year is off the rails for me..I'll finish the series, but the show has completely gone crappy.
