And that’s how the government launders the people’s money. Hardware designed/manufactured to extremely high tolerances and maintained by hundreds of members of the armed services across the world aren’t cheap.

I never saw any film crews, maybe they only came in on the weekends.

Since when did China ever give a fuck about patents? They have been copying US and western tech and other shit for decades with no regard for patents or any of hat good shit like trademarks. 3/4 of all items sold on amazon are blatant copies of US products.

Patenting even makes it easier to copy, because you have to publish in exchange for protection. I'm sure Chinese companies have whole divisions scanning new US patent applications for ideas.

It was a joke about China applying for a patent for a "saucer" craft, from the UFO thread. Also, Araysar wondered who "China" applies for a patent with in the first place.
