Fox out in Denver. Sure sounds like him taking over the offense and the potential of Gase going to San Fran forced Elway's hand. Pretty sure this means Peyton will be back though.

I agree he seems to mesh with Gase, but Peyton can't be super happy the organization is in turnover mode as he's literally in his twilight year

Grats on getting Kubiak as your new HC.

Ever since the Harbaugh thing it seems like every single NFL coaching/front office change has been described as a "mutual parting". No one gets fired in football anymore, check.

Another angle is Fox thinks Peyton is hanging them up. You're looking at a bloated payroll with the Thomases to pay. And your QB would be Brock Osweiler.

This seems totally ass-backward to me.

Edit: I really don't know that much about him. The talking heads in the booth don't really hang on his nuts like they do some other coaches. HellifIknow, but his record ain't too shabby, and it can't ALL be Manning face.

Dallas gonna be 8-8 again. Not a chance they are going to be able to sign the same peeps, and D is going to be worse. Romo is going to have to be magical to get past the eagles the next year. Draft well cowboys, draft well.
Yes, the magical Chip Kelleys are going to take on all comers with some mythical QB who is going to lead them to the promised land of a postseason win. Truth is in the early part of the season they won a lot of games with some defensive and special team scores, which are extremely unreliable. Hell, I don't think they scored a single offensive point in their win over the 49ers. As expected, once those stopped happening they stopped being able to win as much. Sanchez as their QB didn't help but Foles wasn't exactly lighting up the world either.

So we'll see. Giants are going to be in the mix too since Eli will have Cruz and ODB to throw to. They get a run game going and it's a 3-team race. Sorry 'Skins, you're out for at least two years.

Eagles are feast or famine. But Dallas ain't pulling off the cap magic. They get back... sean lee? Claiborne is done. Its going to be real tough. Giants suck....skins suck... who else is going to stop them?

I always liked John Fox, but from his time in Carolina he was more afraid of his own shadow than even Rivera and that's saying something. His judgement on challenges was always horrible to. That said, he's too good of a coach to not get another HC gig if he wants one.

I always see him punting on 4th and short when he has/had one of the best offensive teams in the universe
Kicking field goals when needing to go for 7 and blowing challenges left and right.

I would rather have Riviera....

This has got to be it for Peyton. No way he's coming back to Denver with an entire turnover at coaching. I mean I guess he and Elway could be handpicking the coaching staff together or something, but realistically this just says the Broncos are blowing up the team and preparing to rebuild to me.
