FUCK ESPN for airing this once and pulling it. Not that it exonerates the Pats but it shows under-inflated balls give the Defense a minuscule cover advantage of one inch.

I'm not arguing that Wells isn't impartial either, but the Pats made this same argument a few days ago and now have someone indirectly getting paid by them also posting a rebuttal is definitely the pot calling the kettle black.

Both the NFL and the Pats are at fault here, but the Pats doing it after the fact is even worse imo

Commenting on business ethics. His rebuttal is most likely correct, but it feels tainted/unsubstantiated because it would have been very easy for Kraft/Patriots to find someone impartial to make that statement.

I'm waiting to hear the explanation as to why the NFL would purposely try to destroy TV ratings by suspending Brady for 4 games. This is the same commissioner and league who will do anything for money. You think CBS/NBC are giving Roger high fives?

It may boost ratings because all the anti-Patriots fans will watch hoping to see an utter train wreck. Probably won't, but I'm betting they lose one of those 4 games at the least.

wat the fuck? Lighter balls are slower with "everything else being equal"? Someone please edjimicate my dumb ass. What scientific law did they use to come up with that? Cause with things like bullets, a lighter projectile propelled by the same amount of powder generally goes faster.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying speed of the ball had anything to do with anything, I'm just saying WTF at that sports science segment.
