How about:
1) "The Deflator" being a nickname McNally references himself with in a text to Jastremski. (Wells reportpage 6, bottom)
2) Brady only knowing McNally by face, not by name. (Brady appealpage 139, line 25)
3) Brady never having texted McNally, which is obvious considering point 2. (Brady appealpage 44 line 4-5)
4) McNally not being an equipment manager, but an "Officials Locker Room attendant". (Wells reportpage 42)

1)Brady inviting Jastremski to the QB room for the FIRST time in 20 years of working for the team and 'meeting' for an unspecified amount of time
2) Talking to Jastremski for over 55 minutes over 3 days when they had not spoken or texted in over 6 months before then.
3) the deflator getting autographed balls and his jersey autographed even though Brady didn't 'know' the guy.
4) the laughable assumption that Brady doesn't have a clue how his balls are or who touches them.
5) Brady getting the league to change who worked with balls after the 2006 season. "I don't care how the balls feel but if you could just get my boys to make sure they 'feel' right, I'd like that."

I don't understand why Pats fans are in such denial about it. It reads like Lakers fans during Kobe's rape trial. This is way less severe than that obviously.
I don't think it hurts his legacy. He's still the best QB since Montana. It's just an easy target for pot shots for the rest of us that naturally hate the most successful franchise of the past decade.

So he got the rule changed in 2006 so that 8 years later in 2014 he could bring this guy into his private room and set up an elaborate plan to deflate all their balls so that they would be able to beat the Colts in the AFC championship? Wait, maybe these guys were deflating balls for him for 8 years and they decided to blackmail him for some autographed equipment in 2014 cause they were sick of doing it for free? Wait, wait. basically it is admitted that while being "supposedly" independent, they considered the nfl their client. i don't know about you guys but when i am directed to make a report for my client, i do my best to present my client with the best opinion for my client. (i do engineering work) and if i am presented to create an opposing argument to a report, i do my best to present an argument in favor of what my client wants- so the nfl wanted to "catch" the underinflation of the balls, it would behoove wells and co to present as strongly worded a report as they possibly can "prove" that the patriots did it...which from reading the report, is what they did, they produced a report as best as they could compile presenting the patriots in the worst possible way (ie "more probable than not" "might have") for removing air from the balls.
under oath (for whatever that is worth) brady says he wanted the balls at 12.5 he never instructed or asked for balls to be underinflated, he ask for the balls to be at the minimum allowed by the league.
and as to the phone, it was "disposed of" not destroyed- granted it probably WAS destroyed, but the testimony never says destroyed, just disposed of.
brady has a fairly strong position in the case, and provided it is not settled on the 12th and ends up in court, he'll probably win.

Yup, you know "the deflator" because the dude is overweight and on a diet, uh huh. Say, I have some land for sale in florida....
I hope you're in for a pleasant surprise. Pierre Thomas is probably the best screen receiver in the league. He will block and not give up on the play. Dude has a knack for turning nothing into a positive. And on top of that his character is A+, someone you want on your team. After every touchdown instead of showboating like he did it all himself he goes to the linemen and thanks them.
Edit - Looks like it won't matter as the two didn't actually come to terms.

Nice except the damage control (read: private meeting in the QB room and texts) between Brady and Jastremski happened AFTER the story broke, after the AFC championship game. Is that the Patriot fan position now? That both these guys were 'blackmailing' Brady, hence why they got fired? Hence why their owner took one of the stiffest penalties to an organization up the ass?
