Great point and this shows these companies value their talent over their consumers. Disney exec pushes for LGBTQ content because Gen Z is ‘queerer’
To push certain content because your son says it's a good idea instead of looking at the stats is exactly why all these companies will eventually fail. Even if Gen Z is queerer, why does all content need to be queer? The LGBTQ section is a misnomer. All TV caters to LGBTQ. There is no global desire for this kind of content. The US desire is overblown as well. TV and stories are not a new medium where they need genius to provide for the people...yet they still can't get it right.

wow. this factors into a discussion I was having with my brother today, about too many subscriptions, etc.
This splintering of services greatly diminishes the potential viewer count, thus word of mouth, and buzz for any show. Viewership on any given show is going to get smaller and smaller. and with smaller viewership, less social aspect of people talking about any given one. its not sustainable. and here they are, spending more and more per episode...

Its better than pretty much anything else Netflix does. The 80's vibe certainly helps but not every actor has to be drop dead gorgeous. I actually like that the actors are not super beautiful. They are also in shape about like the average 80's kid was. It is a big difference from what are society looks like now. Its nice seeing a time when kids actually played outside in the neighborhood and learned good socialization skills.
450 Million for season 4 is pretty crazy. Hopefully the story matches the cost.

Do yo think Millie Bobbie Brown or whatever is pretty? I can't decide. She looked ok in the sherlock holmes thing. Definitely better than Chloe Moretez Grace, who is honestly a dog.

Watched conversations with a killer the john wayne gacey tapes. Its good, a little disjointed as it jumps around the timeline of his life/murders a little bit.
What was annoying was it trying to interject some oh so tiring gay sob story about how society marginalizes gays while completely ignoring the fact John was a closeted homosexual who preyed on often times straight men. Oh of course it never mentions John himself being molested as a child. Also ignore the fact John only spent a little over a year in prison for sexually assaulting a minor, really proves how tough on gays society was.
