Purposely targeted the injury, probably not. Purposely stepped on "whatever his foot happened to find..." that is exactly what it looked like to me.

Exactly. I dont think Suh is in enough control of himself to target a specific previously injured body part. What he wanted to do was be an asshole and cause some hurt. Yeah, he's a complete douchebag as a human being, but he isn't clever enough to attempt some stealth injury campaign on Rogers leg.

That's fucked up. If he was a Raven we would be forcing Rodgers' wife in to a press conference to apologize for her husband's part in the assault. Way to support your players Detroit!

Suh isn't popular around here because he's constantly jerked around the Lions. He's had lots of opportunities to help them fix their cap issues, get him signed in a time frame so they could go after other players, etc. The guy has had one foot out the door for more than a year.

Are you nuts? You can say all you want about the team around him contributing but they sure as hell didn't get anything done without him on the field. The team did not do okay when he went out, far from it. Every one of their losses is basically an essay on why Romo is the engine that makes the team run.

For another player they would not likely be suspended a game and the benefit of the doubt would be given. But Suh has such a long history of exactly this kind of behavior that anything that is even questionable he is going to get called on it.
