Excuse me this is the American Weather thread

Hard to have too much sympathy for CA these days, poorly managed everything including forests so no great surprise. Everyone apparently cried about controlled burns so here we are?

Not only control burn banning, but a lot of CA is built in fire ecosystems that thrive and evolved with fire and are dependant on it.

Apparently there is a hurricane forming in the Mediterranean.

JFC, it's finally cold in AZ.

Sunday afternoon it was 75F, by 10pm it was right at freezing. Kind of unusual for that big of a swing that fast here.

About 2 miles from front line of fire in Ventura... crazy night.

Thanks brother - good so far but the winds are 30-40mph and gusts up to 70. Anything can happen.

Supposed to snow here Friday. I'll believe when I see it. Normally they say snow then it rains a lot then gets below freezing and the roads freeze over.

Not normal here either. Whole eastern half of the nation seems to have had hell frozen over. This is what we would see late January/Febish.

In '96 or '97 I was in Florida for something not spring break related but it was spring break, not far from Daytona. Some spring break, it got down to freezing.

Woke up to beautiful sheet of ice over everything, and then that's covered by three inches of snow. Morning commute is going to suck donkey balls. I'll have no trouble, but so many people are so bad a driving in the snow.
