Lazlo fucking kills me though. Goddamn, the fact he spent almost the whole episode in the library just looking at porn, "Don't touch that book! It's too much for your young cock". "I didn't become a vampire to be some pencil pushing bureaucrat, I became a vampire to suck blood and fuck forever".
This show is so fucking good. Probably the best comedy show since The Office.

Parks and Rec was pretty shit the first couple seasons. It got far better once Adam Scott and Rob Lowe joined the cast and Tom changed from a douche to a goof.

When I recommend Parks and Rec to folks I tell them to start on Season 2 Episode 23 "The Master Plan" which is the first episode with Rob Lowe and Adam Scott.
If someone is unsure if they will like the show I tell them to check out Season 3 Episode 13 "The Fight".
Never thought I would enjoy Parks and Rec or What we Do in the Shadows but I love them both. They each hit a comforting spot. They have heart.

Disagree that ep 3 was a dud. Main story was whatever, but the car side plot with Colin Robinson and Laszlo was pretty great was pretty great.
Laszlo running into Colin in reverse and saying its because he can't see himself in the mirror, Laszlo crushing Colin dead center and pinning him against the wall then asking if he got hit, "This man knows his cars" and then a Colin giving a cocky "hell yeah I do" nod at the camera for remembering a made up car part name after just complaining how stupid it was.

I wish it wasn't spoiled in the season teaser because the first time I saw it I was dying.
My favorite joke was Lazlo knowing the pornogrophy that opened the car room must be a fake because that particular book was never published in hard cover.

I've recently started rewatching season 1 and one thing I'm starting to notice is that this show has actually gotten even funnier as time has gone on, which is very rare in comedies. They tend to reuse a lot of the same "gags", but even a "lesser" episode like Ep3 from season 3 is on-par with some of season 1's best episodes.
Also, Colin wasn't really that funny in S01, whereas he's a fucking riot in S03 and started really picking up steam in S02. To me, Nandor was mostly the star of S01 and has gotten less funny over the seasons, whereas the other 3 have gotten funnier.
