Unrelated and happened today:
I HATE Fed-Ex. I'm usually good about asking who the shipper is before making my impulse buy. I made sure the daughter was home today, package needed an adult signature. (It's a big electric skateboard, not booze). To me adult is 18+, but nope, 21+. It was rejected today.
Look up the door tag number, the website says it was delivered...yesterday, Call the number, can't get a human to talk to me, the AI says it was delivered yesterday, do you want to open a case#? *hangs up*
No worries, I can just pick it up, right? Nope, it's not the right 'facility' here, delivery only.
I had to use REDDIT to find the only way to talk to a human (and of course it's in India). Do they just expect people to take a day off work for a stupid package? What a shit company.
(The only way to talk to a barely-understandable human is to "Dial 800-463-3339 for customer service. After you hear the automated voice, say "main menu," then say "technical assistance," then say "more options," then say "something else."", in case anyone else needs this lol)
