I have 2 guesses. #1 is that red lights are their phone time and they're not giving that shit up no matter how loud you honk.

#2 is that maybe there is a sign there that they see and you missed or forgot about. I recall an intersection when I was young that had no right on red signs and the adults all gave me shit about not turning. Then I showed them the sign and they were like "Well that's fucking stupid ...." Both my parents, my sister's husband, and a friend of his who was a cop all missed the sign and tried to give me shit.

But speaking of right on red, I might have used this one before. If there are 2 right turn lanes, only the rightmost lane can go right on red. I have this setup near my house and it pisses me off when the person in the leftmost turn lane goes right on red because I'm usually trying to cut across to the left lane on the service road ASAP. I avoid that inside turn lane because I know it isn't allowed to turn right on red.

Maybe it is different in your state, but that's not true in general. Unless the outer lane specifically says you can't turn right, both lanes can turn. I do it all the time coming back to work from McDonald's, even when cops are around.

With two right-turn lanes, both drivers must stop fully and choose the correct lane on entry. Stay in your lane through the turn; late merges across lanes cause sideswipe crashes and right-of-way confusion. I turn right on red when its allowed, I feel the need to say this up front to minimize a particular response.

With that said:
1. You "may" turn right on red in some circumstances. You are not obligated to, and in fact, are not allowed to until you've confirmed its safe to turn. So a person who hasnt turned right yet, is legally 100% within their rights.
2. There are red lights you aren't allowed to turn red on. So a person who hasnt turned right yet may be in the process of verifying that its allowed at this particular light. Or arguing with their backseat driver over the question.
3. Meanwhile, by the time you've given the driver a reasonable grace period to figure out if its allowed, the lights green and the problem is resolved on its own.


The #1 cause of nearly all traffic accidents: people getting impatient cause they don't like what the person in front of them is doing. "I may be delayed by 2.3 seconds on my super important drive!!! Unacceptable, fuck you all!"

Payback. 99% of the drivers in that town were tourists and they constantly made life miserable for full time residents. Double parking, driving below the speed limit, sudden stops for sightseeing, etc. This was an opportunity to fuck with them. That’s all.

First off, if they were annoyed, they were annoyed by a rule that was put in place to keep kids safe and I was just following. I didn’t make up and I wasn’t going to get fired for disobeying it.

OK, welcome friends to the Saturday edition of "Haus has his jimmies mildly rustled by this generation being weak ass bitches"

The wife and I went to a family cookout today. Her side of the family, pretty big turnout, great time. All they asked us to bring was watermelon, which I'm always happy to do as I love few things more than cold watermelon at a cookout.

We get there, foods being had, towards the end of the main course (burgers, dogs, brawts) I find a side area on the table and start slicing up a nice sized melon we had brought with us, kept in a fridge overnight and a cold bag until time to cut so it was nice, crisp, and cold. As I'm slicing it kids at the cookout are coming up like I'm the damn ice cream man handing out freebies and I'm setting them up. Good times. After the first round I finish slicing the rest into a tray, grab a couple slices for myself, and put the tray over on the main picnic table.

I sit around shooting the shit with some of Mrs. Haus Mrs. Haus 's relatives for a while and get a hankering for some more. I go up and one of the current generation (i.e. the parent of two of the kids there) stops me before I can grab some more with... "Man, I gotta warn you... Kids have been touching that.... WITH THEIR HANDS!"
I just calmly respond with "You should have seen my hands all over it while I was cutting it... hell, when I was their age I was eating shit off the ground at cookouts if it looked tasty..."

How can a person (he's around 30) who literally has two kids under 6 himself (there were close to a dozen under 6 kids running around in and out of pools set up there, having a grand old time) be scared to touch/eat something because kids had touched it with.. their hands! And we wonder why herd immunity has gone to crap....

Yep, I've noticed a lot of helicopter parents creating weak kids. I teach my kids that dirt is ok, the immune system needs a workout to stay in shape like any body part :p I think that's what killed John Travolta's kid, they would clean the shit out of the carpets, and the rugrat would inhale carpet cleaning fumes all day instead of a slightly soiled carpet. Oops.

What about stopping before crossing train tracks? Or better yet having a school bus stop on a very busy intersection so you randomly bring it to a stand still. School buses rustle jimmies.

Anyways, 50 iq retards ruin everything. Been going to this spot to shoot for quite some time and every year some retard brings something out really dumb. Last year some retard brough out a commercial fridge. This year theyve outdone themselves, they brought out a old honda and shot it up and then burned it. Fucking idiots are going to get BLM like this shut down before developers do.

Story time but I need to set it up.
In Myrtle Beach there is a train bridge on the waterway. Twice a year the bring it down to make sure it works but I lived there 10 years and never saw a train. Anyhow there was a loop road with a train crossing at that bridge. WAY before you get to the crossing you can clearly see the bridge is straight up in the air. I went on this road every day to my office. I'm on the phone with my boss one day, I have the phone in one hand, a drink in the other and I'm steering with my knee. There is a school bus in front of me that stops at the crossing - Lights/arm the whole thing. I passed it through the stop signs. I told my boss if I was drunk I would have broken every traffic law there was.





FYI Was going to show a pic of the bridge but they have since removed the crossing entirely. It has been ohh almost 20 years, wtf?

NGL with my OWN property to shoot on, I kinda was debating if it would be worth getting a wrecked car out there and when chewed up pretty good dump it back off at the dump/salvage.

Granted rather than pure mag dumping wanted to be kinda scientific seeing how bullets deflect thru front glass etc. Esp if I got my BMG, need to see if it would defeat a v8 and not just 4cyc
