I forgot how horrible escort quests used to be, holy shit. I can't wait to do those robot chicken quests, forget name.

They loved them so much they even added them inside dungeons. Which had respawning trash. That quillboar dungeon escort shit and worst of all, the BRD fucking escort. Well BRD in general was such a major clusterfuck. It was fun to clear with competent people and was pretty good xp doing all the quests in there but the way it was designed it was guaranteed you wouldn't clear 10% of it in random pubs. Just the run to the key boss and/or the run to the last boss.

Yeah, it's kind of annoying because it very clearly was a bug. But whatever. I'm still very slightly ahead of the pack (less so because queues reeee) so non-dungeon grinding has been working out for me.

Was it giving exp like a 5 man or something? I couldn't get into all the 10 man AE group crap(thought it was something from pservers) as a hunter, so had rough time just finding regular dungeon groups as people just wanted the 10 man AEs.
Edit: seems so, was not giving the penalty that you get if in a raid. It's hiarlious to read the tears though, people upset its fixed and they cant abuse it now. As with most glitches/bugs, if its not an obvious exploit(aka cheating) better use it fast, as it will get fixed eventually. Kinda shocked they did a hotfix on a sunday of a holiday weekend tbh.

It was giving bonus xp with the penalty instead of just xp penalty, for whatever reason. Wasn't a pserver thing because even pserver devs were aware that's not how it's ever worked

Westfall! It is actually a nice server. Seems crowded as hell but it can't be as bad as the other servers. People seem nice too.

This is something I'm genuinely surprised at, I've only ran into one dick so far in classic. Which sounds like a lot for it not even being a week old but the amount of groups I've been in has been insane. Which shouldn't surprise me but I still play BFA so lol
