Your ability to add up posts and tell time explains why you are a blue parsing demon hunter who swallows Ions cock. You are bording on Ossoi levels of retardation.

Doubt he even blue parses on anything, he said a few pages back he still doesn't have BFA flying.

That's some stay at home mom level of WOW playing we're talking about, even then they're usually pretty current with content, this dude isn't.

If you are a mythic raider right now what will flying get you?

Currently all sources of gear for anyone raiding come external to BFA zones or in the raid itself you get summoned to. Visions? Uldum or Vale, you can fly in both.

I have no clue whom you are talking about but saying you can’t be a raider in this game without BFA flying, in the current patch, just isn’t relevant.

I just made like 40k profit flipping tidespray linen and I don't know who the fuck is out in this world buying something that has infinite stock avilable for 2g 40s each

I usually buy it for under 2g and just afk craft for profit (i think 2g 4s is break even) but uh... bouta do this so I don't waste hours over the week crafting, not sure why I waited this long

There's zero chance any semi serious raiding guild will look at you twice if at this point in the game lifecycle you don't have flying. There was SO much grinding to be done for mythic raiding, especially back when grinding azerite was needed for neck levels, you needed to grind pearls, dailies, resources for consumables etc etc.

It's a proof of minimal commitment. Mythic raiding is hard as fuck and requires some motivation and some comitment, if you can't grind 2 reps with 6 months to do so you probably shouldn't raid mythic. Or Heroic. I mean LFR is probably more the speed you're looking for

Any "semi serious raiding guild" will look at how well you present yourself on Discord and how well you perform during trial. They maybe get a look at your parses and armory profile but since flying isn't mandatory in instances they probably won't give a fuck about it since getting flying right now, as a_skeleton_03 pointed, is trivial. We're talking 8.3 here, manpower is needed everywhere, it's not really a time to get ultra picky.

Unless you're in a world top 100 Mythic guild environment (where everyone knows each other) no one is gonna instantly discard your guild application before testing you in raid. Neck level farming is trivial, raid consumables (and some BiS gear) can be bought with IRL money, cloak progression is timegated and Ny'alotha doesn't require attunement. Only a fool would think one would care about a player pedigree in a season-based gameplay.

New Interview from Blizzard they believe they nailed the story of BFA 10 out of 10!!!

  • The challenge with Warcraft's story comes with pacing out content in a way that makes sense for the game.
  • If they pull too many characters in at any one time, it runs the risk of making the narrative disjointed and hard for players to keep track of.
  • World of Warcraft is a game, and so sometimes the needs of gameplay requires the story to hold off on resolving plot points until later in the expansion, such as with Warfronts.
  • The aftermath of the mak'gora in Orgrimmar felt like a time when they really needed to show how majors characters were reacting, as well as the commoners in the street.
  • Azshara and the Old Gods were always intended to be in Battle for Azeroth.
  • Looking back, Steve believes that they could have done a better job making sure both factions got a deeper context for where the story was going so that the threads that connected all the elements were clearer.
  • He feels good about how the players got to experience the major beats of the story and that each one was intended from the start.
  • The parallels between this story and Garrosh were intentional to emphasize the theme that "Ours is a cycle of Hatred." The story shows that the underlying structures of the Horde is what enables the tyranny in the first place, and it's within this nuance that they sought to show growth and ultimately the fundamental change in the Horde Leadership.
  • On the Alliance, they wanted to show Anduin's struggle to live up to his father's legacy and the cost it incurred.
  • The aftermath of war is always messy. Expect repercussions from the Fourth War to carry forward for a long time.
  • There is a lot more story to tell in regards to the burning of Teldrassil and the repercussions from it. The characters involved have a long way to go and many lessons to learn.
  • The team will do more cinematics in the style done for Saurfang where it makes sense and at the right moments.
  • In Shadowlands the player character will be referred to as "The Maw Walker," but is not heralded as an all-powerful champion, but rather as someone with great potential who has an exciting adventure ahead of them.
  • The team plans to tell a focused story arc that will continue through updates and culminate in a compelling conclusion. There will be twists along the way with implications beyond Shadowlands. Certain long-running threads will conclude with new mysteries as well.
  • The new leveling experience is meant to be a standalone moment that easily flows into BfA and expansions in the future to avoid what the current leveling experience has become.
  • To believe that there can only be a single outcome to the struggle against N'Zoth would be to ignore the lessons he was trying to teach us.

Some info on the essence stuff. I'm pretty okay with this. Extremely grindable instead of being forced to wait 4 weeks arbitrarily for no other reason other than "you gotta".

also that last paragraph leaves me slightly more optimistic about the future but we'll see

"More recently, as we continued to revisit the subject, especially in light of ongoing Shadowlands design, we came to see subsequent playthroughs of the same content for the same player differently. While we still firmly believe that each character should have a progression arc of power gains, the player behind those characters understandably may not want to repeat the exact same arc multiple times when they feel they have exhausted the variety or rewards an activity might hold....This is the same philosophy that’s informing our plans for leveling in Shadowlands"

Gee maybe you should have used 8.1, 8.2 or 8.3 to follow up on that.

Its amazing to think you can put out the absolute garbage that was BFA's story and still have a job. Literally every single aspect of it was pants on head retarded and it only got worse at the expansion progressed. Inbred monkeys could produce a more coherent and interesting story.

That's cute. Go app to any CE guild (that's far far far from top 100) or even a 10/12 or 11/12 guild without BFA flying and report back here. I'm sure if you don't have bfa flying you put a ton of effort and your gear is good enough to apply to them.

I wasn't implying mythic raiding was killing the first 2 of each tier and call it a day. That's bottom feeding.

So fresh alt 120's have to do nothing big in order to have everything unlocked like WQ's and the Battle continent whatever you call that one?

You used to have to get to (X) step in the War campaign to unlock WQs and the Warfronts. They may have changed it in 8.3 though.

you just do the quest to talk to nathanos on the boat, and then for nazjatar/mechagon you have to do the opening quests which take about 20 minutes or so and then everything is unlocked

the cape shit, despite being able to skip a good chunk of it.. you still have a lot of travel time and unlocking to do. probably about an hour instead of 3 give or take

That’s not terrible just didn’t want to complete the whole quest line to make sure the basics were unlocked.

The guaranteed corruption is pretty neat. Still trying to figure how to manage a second tier three twilight destruction piece. This puts me at a murgerous level of corruption but so much dps.

My second cape took the same time as the first. There was no dialogue box to skip. One was alliance and one was horde, not sure if that makes a difference.

They do the dialogue boxes in a shitty way, Bran will give you the quest and the dialogue button won't be on his interaction panel. You have to close the panel and interact with bran again to get it to pop up.
