TIL the WoW in Unreal 5 video I saw months back and thought was just some kind of what if type video was actually Turtle WoW and they’re releasing an unreal client this year. Pretty crazy.
Its not going to "look good". Its going to use the same textures and models as they did before. The UE5 release might make this thing go supernova. I can’t be the only person that would love to see Azeroth in a modern game engine…WoW classic AND it looks good? They might draw too much attention and force Blizzard to do something.
I popped on today as I'm losing faith in the Epoch project. Newb zones still high population, but people are already lvl 50+ as well. Not sure when raids come out, but that's my interest (lvl 60 content) and the TWOW raid system seems sucky (I keep beating this dead horse. NO idea why TWoW insists on the shit 40 man model. Zero people like it).Yeah they can’t do shit about it on this old client iirc, I think even official classic said they couldn’t when sod came out?
has anybody went back on ambershire and tried to level herb or mining now that the majority of people are 20+? I feel like I’ll regret not going back earlier to start herbalism
Twow has scaling Raids meaning you don't NEED 40, you can take up to 40.I popped on today as I'm losing faith in the Epoch project. Anyway, harvesting nodes wasn't a problem.
No shit? Interesting.Twow has scaling Raids meaning you don't NEED 40, you can take up to 40.

Emerald Sanctum 30-40

Yeah, when raiding is a job it saps the fun out of it.I had never played a private server prior to trying Epoch.
I prefer the leveling experience vastly compared to the raiding exp.
After more than a couple of tiers of raiding came out, my in game life had to revolve around doing something that got old fast. During Vanilla, on my server, my guild was the first to clear MC, missed the first BWL clear by 1 day, and pushed to the Twin Emps before imploding. AQ was so fucking terrible and pointless that guild after guild imploded trying to clear it when it orginally released.
As raiders dropped out due to the fact the raid sucked and the gear was mostly a side grade at best, back to MC / BWL we went to gear more people. So now instead of 1 night of raiding, it became 2 nights of MC / BWL / Ony clear, then progression clear. They didnt have Chronoboom back then, so you farmed all your world buffs, farmed a ton of coin for consumes, then logged out. Raiding took all the fun out of the game for me once we had to continue to clear the same raids for almost a year. This of course is before each top tier guild was pushing 20 Rank 14 warriors for sub 11 min clears as well. Guilds were lucky to have 1, and every rank 14 was known by name.
